This was my first alarm company experience so not sure what to expect. I would a lot for plenty of time for install, and that's a good thing. My representative took plenty of time to advise me of what was being done, and what other options I should consider to add on in the future. There was no hard sale on new items but more of a conversation and education. The rep walked through everything in great detail and did a great job to make the transition in my home seamless.

We've always had exemplary service (20+ years' worth!) from Protection 1 in San Francisco so that is why we chose to go with them again when we purchased our vacation condo near Palm Springs. Service calls, while rarely needed, are always responded to very promptly...and how many people can say they've enjoyed having the same friendly and knowledgeable technician show up for over a decade?!

The salesman, installer, and office personal were very professional, honest, and pleasant to work with. The monitoring system is simple to use, especially the phone app. We love the feature of arming and disarming the system anywhere we have our phone. Before you buy any system, you need to check out Protection 1. They're that good!!!

We were very pleased with the guys that came to install our system. They were very nice and worked very hard during the time they were here. They made sure we knew how to operate the new system before they left. In addition, we really like the way the new system works. We like being able to access it on the internet as well as receiving an email whenever the system is armed and disarmed. While we were away, we had a pet sitter coming in everyday. One day, I noticed that a lot of time had elapsed after she had disarmed the system and it had not been reset. I sent her a text message. She thought she had reset it when she left, but once she came back to check, found that she had not. It would have been disarmed all night without this email feature.
