I was not happy with the products. I get better results from products I buy from the grocery store and pay a lot less for. After trying all the tips that I was given with no positive outcome, I reached out to Prose to get a refund, which I was told I would receive. I waited over two weeks and still did not receive a refund. I reached back out a week ago with no response…I feel like the company has ghosted me and I won’t be getting the refund I was promised. I would never recommend prose to anyone.

Sent to the wrong address website was bugged

I completed the hair quiz and was matched with what was supposedly the best product line for my hair type, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. For reference, I have coily 4A hair. There were a few things I liked, namely the shampoo and the overall packaging. However, the conditioner provided very little slip and did not help with detangling at all. I also requested a fragrance-free hair oil due to my allergies, but the oil I received was not fragrance-free as expected. Overall, I was disappointed with the results, especially considering the price point. I've found hair products at my local grocery store that perform significantly better for a fraction of the cost.

Has anyone else had issues with Prose Beauty subscriptions? I am sharing my experience because I am very disappointed. After more than two years without placing an order, I was charged again and a product was shipped to an old address that I no longer use. I never received the product, yet the company continued to defend the charge instead of resolving the issue. What upsets me most is that despite explaining multiple times that the shipment went to an outdated address and that I had not purchased from them for years, I received no apology and no meaningful assistance. I am curious whether anyone else has experienced unexpected subscription charges, shipments to outdated addresses, or difficulty resolving billing disputes with Prose Beauty.

Good products, but subscription is high maintenance. After twice receiving and being billed for products I didn't need, I cancelled. I contacted them an hour after receiving a notice that products were being prepared for me ($224) and would be delivered on more then 2 weeks and they said that as products were made to order so it couldn't be cancelled. I don't buy it and don't think this is honest.

I used to be a returning customer of Prose and absolutely loved their leave-in conditioner. It made my hair feel stronger, incredibly silky, smooth, and healthy every time I used it. I recommended it to friends because it honestly worked so well for me before. Unfortunately, my last purchase was a complete disappointment. It honestly feels like something changed in the ingredients or formula. Instead of moisturizing and protecting my hair like it used to, it made my hair feel dry, brittle, and damaged. The ends of my hair became rough and unhealthy after using it, which never happened with the older version. I kept trying to make it work because I had such a great experience in the past, but this time it felt like the product did the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Really sad to see such a noticeable decline in quality from a product I used to genuinely love.

The product was great however their website and business practices make it not worth messing with. I made a one time order cause the subscription was wrong. I fixed the subscription but they kept sending me the one time order. The first repeat I cancelled. The second they say can't be cancelled even though I contacted them immediately. I will never do business with them again after this.

I filled out all my info. Paid my money got my products and was all excited for my hair to be beautiful!!! The products made my hair dryer and duller than it already was. It made me cry. But because they said that if there was a problem I could call or contact them and they would adjust my products so that my hair would be the best possible. So I contacted them and I was told I would have to buy another product (not something from them but something from anyone I thought might help) that I thought would help make my hair shiney, fluffier, just healthier looking and it was really disgusting because that was what I was paying them to know and fix for me. If I knew all of that I would have been doing all of that already!!
