I've used Private MD Labs twice now, in 2024 and again at the end of 2025, and the thing that keeps me coming back is that I can order what I actually want to know without needing a doctor's visit first. You pick the panel, they handle the physician authorization, and you show up at a Quest location for the draw. The appointment took maybe ten minutes. Results landed in the portal and were clear enough to read on my own. What I appreciated most was that the panel was comprehensive — thyroid, hormones, lipids, CBC, full metabolic — so I got a picture rather than a single number. It caught a liver enzyme running high, which turned out to be from a medication I was on at the time, but I wouldn't have known to look without the panel in front of me. Having two sets of results a few weeks apart let me see the trend, which was more informative than either number alone.
