Prime Publishing LabsReviews of primepublishinglabs.com

Absolute scam. I spend over 10000 with this company. I still haven't sold one book. Their marketing plan is non existing. Notice how 98% of their 5 star reviews have no pics. While all their one star review actually have pics on their profile. More evidence of the false methods this company uses. DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH PRIME PUBLISHING LABS.

The company sets a low price that tends to pull in new authors (like I was.) They DO provide some guidance. Initially, I was very impressed after they reviewed and made adjustments to my 1st 5-10 chapters. However, after that, things tended to fall off. The "account mgr." was good about responding to my concerns, but I found that I had to do 90%+ of the proofreading for the rest of my book. They did a good job on the cover and some of the formatting--but I had to be on them constantly about errors. They pushed to have me get the copyright and registration at the Library of Congress--but they wanted $600 per agency done by their "legal dept." I could not afford both, but I was intimidated by doing the copyright paperwork, so I agreed to pay $600 for Prime Publishing Labs (PPL) to do it. It was paid for in June 2025. The book was published in July 2025. I did work on a 2nd book and used PPL again. I had similar problems to book 1 and issues with lots of things, but I kept going and had to do a lot of work I felt they should have done. They DID do the formatting and submitted it for publishing to Amazon in March 2026. I submitted the copyright myself for $65 in Nov. 2025. I received notification within a month and got a formal registration letter in April 2026. I NEVER got anything verifying my 1st book's copyright. When I wrote to PPL about it, I got lots of excuses about them submitting many books in batches etc. Then I actually spoke to a clerk in the copyright office in Washington DC. They had NO record or reference about my 1st book ever being applied for copyright. When I confronted representatives of PPL with this fact, I got "stonewalled". They insist they complied with terms of their contract. I have asked for a refund of that $600 since it was clear that nothing was done. They had also pushed for me to spend more money to help market my books, but the rates were quite high ( many thousands of $$$$) and after seeing what they did with the copyright issue, I am glad I didn't . I guess you get what you pay for a cheap introductory rate...just please be careful trusting these guys. They did ok on some things, but they do tend to take advantage if you aren't wary. I have filed complaints with the attorneys general in my home state of Ohio and in PPL's state of business--New York to get the money back from what they did not do on my copyright application. I am giving them 2 stars not just because of the copyright issue, but because of all the work I had to do to get corrections made in the proofs.

"DO NOT" DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY GOT $6000 OF MY MONEY WITH PROMISES TO PRINT MY BOOKS AND DID NOT DELIVER. THEY ARE SCAMMERS FROM INDIA WHO USE THE NAME "PRIME PUBLISHING LABS OR PRIME PUBLISHING" DOING BUSINESS OUT OF NEW YORK. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY OFFICE IN NEW YORK AND THEY ARE ONLINE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS MIMICKING "AMAZON PRIME" PUBLISHING TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE A LEGIT COMPANY. I HATE MYSELF FOR LETTING PEOPLE LIKE THIS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME AND I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. THE ONE GUY I WAS WORKING WITH BY A PHONNY NAME "GEORGE CARTER" WHO HAS AN INDIAN ACCENT CONVINCED ME TO INVEST $5000 OF MY MONEY FOR MY BOOK PRINTING FOR A RETURN OF $10000 WITH PROMISES TO SELL MY BOOKS ON MY BEHALF....IT WAS ALL A SCAM AND I FELL FOR IT. AS SOON AS I WIRED MY MONEY THIS GUY (GEORGE) WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME FOR DAYS AND THEN CAME UP WITH NEW YORK TAXES AS PART OF ANOTHER SCAM PLOT TO GET MORE MONEY FROM ME. WE GOT TO SHUT THEM DOWN SO THEY DON'T CONTINUE TO REAP PEOPLE OFF OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY. RUN AWAY IF YOU SEE ANY COMPANY BY THE NAME "PRIME PUBLISHING LABS" OR SIMILAR NAMES....THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL ONLINE SCAMMERS. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY...THEY ARE SCAMMERS FROM INDIA OR IT'S ENVIRON. THEY DON'T DESERVE A '1' STAR RATING RATHER '0' STAR IF GIVEN THAT OPTION.

After the Company promised income of $20,000.00 from one of my books for a $22,500.00 investment they never paid and they never produced the two audio books I paid $6,000.00 in advance for. I am 85 and have limited finances. The took all my savings. I was trusting and taken advantage of.

I published by book with them in January of 2025. My issues started even before publishing. They sent me the manuscript to approve, and I told them the picture on the back cover of my family was blurry (I provided them with a professionally taken photograph of high quality). They confirmed it blurry was on their end and then did NOTHING to fix it. They published my book with the blurry picture of my family on the back cover! It is very embarrassing that my family and friends bought my book and it is soo blurry you can't even make out who the family is. I contacted them right away to correct it and they said the picture quality wasn't good. It is a professionally taken photo! I emailed them two more times following up, and they never responded to me at all. Then when they did answer ONE YEAR LATER, they blamed it on an Amazon "printing quality issue" and refused to help make it right. I spoke to Amazon and they said the picture is blurry and is therefore not a printing quality issue. So now I paid to have a blurry book. I am soo disappointed. I will NEVER use this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone!

As an author, I know the importance of a strong first impression, and a book cover is often the deciding factor for readers. The design team did great job by creating a cover that was both visually appealing and true to the theme of my story. They patiently walked me through different concepts, listened to my feedback, and provided several thoughtful revisions until we landed on a final design that captured the essence of my book perfectly.

Excellent, professional, courteous

Prime Publishing Lab was a great fit for my video Project. Two videos promoting my books, How to Kill a President! Vol 1 and Vol 2. Sarah and Josh were very professional, and the project was completed on time, with great attention to detail and quality. I highly recommend them for any of your publishing needs. 5 stars in my book.
