I paid for the 5 month program and did it for a full two months but it didn’t work for me. Alan Gordon, Nicole Sachs, and Dan Buglio have better programs in my opinion. The woman seems nice and genuinely concerned about helping people. Beware of the business end. They put you on auto renew and I received an $86 renewal bill even thought I hadn’t used the program in 3 months. Figuring out how to cancel is tricky too especially if you are over 50 or not technically savvy. I tried to explain my situation to them but they insisted on pointing to the “fine print” about auto renew. And they repeatedly refused to issue me a refund even though I was just billed that day.

Coach uses her "opinion" about autism and ADHD people to help them
I had a discovery a woman who is also Primal Trust "coach" and answers member's questions (she was spanish but I forgot her name). I asked if coaches and support team are trained in helping people with autism and ADHD (like me) since it's for brain/ nervous system retraining. The woman answered that (I paraphrase but almost 100% as she said): "I am one of the coaches who answers questions so you would likely hear from me when in doubts, and in my humble opinion those conditions are results of trauma."
So it turns out that a person who is paid to guide people like me through questions and problems in working on their health, (mental, physical, and emotional) uses "her opinion" to provide paid, supposedly specialised nervous system support.
Is that a joke?
This is a big red flag and the owner should look into this! Unless she thinks the same, because if she didn't, her staff should be trained to know the difference.
People like me get so disappointed and constantly struggle within traditional medical system. We get notoriously bad advice, that sabotages our health. And even here in the seemingly progressive and innovative place, it's like the whole minority is nothing but a result of trauma. Did she read anything to understand the difference? Probably not bothered. She just uses her opinion...
PS. date is approx. i don't remember the exact one

Thank you for sharing your experience.
We understand that the comment you received did not resonate with you, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.
Our Discovery Calls are intended to help prospective members learn more about the program and determine whether it may be a good fit for their individual needs. Our mentors, guides, volunteers, and support team do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. For medical questions and concerns regarding specific diagnoses, we always encourage individuals to work with their trusted healthcare practitioners alongside any educational program they choose to participate in.
As noted in our Discovery Call disclaimer, the opinions expressed by individual volunteers, contractors, mentors, or guides do not necessarily reflect the views of Primal Trust™ Academy and Community, Cathleen King, DPT, or Create Your Brain State, LLC. Team members bring their own experiences and perspectives, and personal opinions shared in conversation should not be interpreted as medical guidance or an official organizational position.
We recognize that conversations surrounding autism, ADHD, trauma, and nervous system health are complex and deeply personal. While many individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds, diagnoses, and life experiences have found value in our program, we also understand that Primal Trust™ may not be the right fit for everyone.
We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best in finding the support and resources that align with your needs.

awful confusing program
awful confusing program. also they cheat you out of money ALL the time. it's almost impossible to cancel a membership. when you need help with anything, you have to pay an additional cost for their "coaches" who are expensive and the membership alone is 96 dollars a month!!! 96!! you can find all this info for free on YouTube if you search for it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we're sorry your experience left you feeling this way. We were not able to tie your name to an account, but we do want to address your concerns directly.
You can pause or cancel memberships anytime through your member account. Our FAQ provides step-by-step instructions to make the process straightforward. Our admin support team is also always available to help at no additional cost.
Mentoring is an optional add-on for members who want personalized, one-on-one support, it's never required to access the full program. We believe the depth of our curriculum, the research behind it, and the community we've built offer meaningful value that goes well beyond what's freely available elsewhere, but we understand this program isn't the right fit for everyone.
If you'd like to revisit any billing questions or need help with your account, please reach out to our support team directly.
Thanks,
The Primal Trust Team

STAY AWAY - They only want your money
STAY AWAY. Primal Trust is the greediest company I have ever encountered. I was loyal for more than two year, paying thousands of dollars to them, but when I try to pause my membership, they cheat me into paying an extra month. I explained to them that a mistake must have happened and that I have been a member for years, but they were adamant that refunds are not possible. They make it almost impossible to find and turn off your subscription. I disputed it with my credit card, and my bank agreed with me, but now they have the audacity to keep fighting the bank over such a low number, putting vulnerable people through extreme stress. I am actually heartbroken that a company I trusted with my health has stabbed me in the back.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear this was your experience.
Memberships can be paused or cancelled at any time directly through the member account, and we also provide step-by-step instructions in our member FAQ to make this process as clear as possible. In addition, our team is always available to assist if needed.
When you reached out, we turned off your auto-renewal and offered to pause your membership so that you would not lose any unused time. This meant that when you returned, you would still have the same amount of time remaining on your membership before any future charge would occur. As outlined in our member agreement and checkout page, we are not able to issue refunds once a renewal has been processed.
Regarding payment disputes, we respond to all claims as part of standard business practice. This is a routine process handled between the payment provider and the issuing bank.
We understand how frustrating billing situations can feel and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. If you’d like to continue the conversation, you’re welcome to reach out to our support team directly.

Perpetuates ableist stigma against neurodivergent people
I joined Primal Trust hoping to work on trauma and some of my long term health conditions which may be caused by chronic stress such as tinnitus and migraines. I expected a neurodiversity-affirming space. Instead, I was publicly gaslit by one of their ambassadors about my neurodivergence in response to a post where I had simply asked other members with ADHD for tips on working through the material. The ambassador told me ADHD “isn’t really a thing,” that it’s caused by past trauma, and that I could “overcome” it with more effort. They made a similar claim about autistic traits.
These statements are factually wrong, deeply stigmatising, and in direct contradiction to decades of scientific evidence. ADHD is a lifelong, primarily genetic neurodevelopmental condition, and autism is not something to “erase.” Comments like this perpetuate ableism and actively harm neurodivergent people.
I immediately emailed Primal Trust with a screenshot, asking them to:
• Remove the ambassador’s comment so other ADHDers would not be exposed to this misinformation and stigma.
• Commit to providing neurodiversity training for their ambassadors.
Their replies ignored both requests. They did not remove the comment or agree to training. Instead, they reframed the situation as merely my personal opinion (“you feel” statements rather than acknowledging it contradicts scientific. evidence), apologised “for any misunderstanding,” said “if I want to hold onto labels that’s up to me”. It was passive aggressive in tone and they took no concrete action to address the harm.
This is not what a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed environment looks like. If you are neurodivergent, be aware that ableist misinformation may go unchallenged here, even when it comes from those representing the programme.

Beware
It didn’t work for me at all.
I joined Primal Trust seeking nervous system support during a vulnerable time with chronic illness. What I received instead felt more like spiritual bypassing mixed with pseudo-therapy — heavy on personal responsibility narratives and light on true safety or trauma-informed care.
The program strongly implies that chronic illness is a result of dysregulation or trauma, which can feel extremely invalidating for people with real, complex biomedical conditions. There was little space for nuance — and no real acknowledgment of pacing, biological limits, or medical realities.
I found myself constantly trying to “fix” my mindset while my body worsened. The pressure to “regulate” harder or dig deeper into my childhood left me feeling gaslit, not empowered. When I expressed concerns, there was no meaningful accountability — just more language about “being stuck in a loop.”
If you’re experiencing real physical symptoms or illness, please be cautious. This work may be helpful for some, but in my case, it led to more harm than healing.
