I was looking for help with my child's college essays and general help. I looked at so many companies including Solomon, Ivywise and others. My cousin sister went with Solomon and cried her eyes out to me. They(Solomon) first get a signed statement from you saying you cannot ask for the money back. Here is my experience right from the first call I made-Prepscholar's Martin Scheuring was a gem, he told me if I am not satisfied they will return the money. Second- In solomon, after my sister paid 14000 her counselor arrogantly refused to meet her over zoom. You have to dial into a conference number and she told me she could barely hear her counselor. For me I had to ask my councilor or essay editor and arrange a zoom call at my convenience. Once I spoke with Mr.Martin Scheuring, I knew I am going with this company. He gave me a great essay editor. Although my daughter wrote her own essays, it was such a great help to have someone correct the formatting, brainstorm the ideas and experiences my daughter has had. Our money spent at PrepScholar was fraction we would have spent at Solomon. We got admission to some of the top colleges. Thank you Prep scholar. Please save your money and go with companies that look out for you.

I really like the videos as they are very easy to understand and helpful. The lessons help me pinpoint what I need to improve upon and provide the feedback that I need to grow in any category. In particular, I was really impressed by the videos and written explanations of every problem which ensured that I could go back and learn something I gotten wrong in the quiz. I also really appreciate the practice tests because they give me a benchmark of where I am at and show where I can improve. One thing that I would like to see improved on is video lessons that get more complex as proficiently in a subject grows. As of right now, the video for the base level is the same as the one for the max level. Overall this was a great service and I genuinely learned and improved.

I gave my SAT on December 3rd, 2022 and PrepScholar was one of my main practice resources. I scored a 1510 and PrepScholar's amazing weekly scheduled lessons, ratings of whether I have mastered a concept or still need practice, and practice questions really helped me develop my skills, especially SAT reading, in which I was quite weak when I first started. When I started out, I was at a 1380, but through prepscholar I was able to bring that up to a 1500. However, I was doing better on practice tests, so I hope to improve even more when I resit in June. Prepscholar taught me things I never would've discovered on my own, and their practice material is rock solid. I think it's also a good way to prepare for the digital SAT alongside the on paper SAT, as their question style is one big passage to 1-2 questions.
