First, The watch is very nice! Second, I ordered the watch on Nov. 17th and got it Dec 5th. No notifications. It took 2 emails to customer service before I got a response. He said it was coming…. It arrived without any shipping communication. No indication that the watch was out of stock. Website said 4-8 days for delivery. I know Amazon shipping has us all spoiled, but that wait was excessive and communication was inadequate.

We are happy with the watch, only problem: Wrong watch was delivered to Germany. The return was fine substitution as well. Problem is Fedex. They charged twice VAT plus a service charge of in total 31 EUR on a total amount of 129 EUR. 62 EUR in Total on an amount of 129 EUR. Will make me think twice to order overseas thanks to FedEx.

After ordering the watch from your website, I didn't receive any feedback about my order status. After a week I emailed and was not given a real status update and I needed to email twice more before I was told my watch on the way. This was a couple of weeks after I ordered it. It would have been helpful if you would have sent me an update telling me the order was delayed but you were working on it. As it was I was beginning to worry. I love the watch, now that it has finally arrived, even though I was told that it would come on the new dark leather strap, but it arrived on the older light brown strap.

Ordering was confusing, perhaps because my order was via PayPal. Upon receipt I found that the watch has a battery that is good for 40 months. The only reason I bought the watch was because I wanted a fully self-winding watch. I did not see anywhere in reading about the watch that it has a battery with limited term. I should actually send it back and get my money back. Why was a battery not disclosed? I paid a lot of money for something I did not truly want.

Simple, military-inspired design. Good price point. No logos/names/words on face is a big plus (especially given the brand name is "Praesidus"). Disappointed that the crystal scratched so easily.

Hey David, Thanks for the feedback on our crystal & design! Funnily enough, we've actually gone out and developed a Sapphire Crystal version for our Tom Rice A-11. It's going to be released next week on our website and should be much harder to scratch that the current one. 😉
