Powermax did an absolutely outstanding job in handling my purchase of a new Mac Book Pro. Maiya, answered all of my question, seemed extremely knowledgeable and was not pushy about making a sale. She seemed very concerned about customer service, which was really nice (didn't know customer service existed anymore), After speaking with Maiya and doing some research on my own I felt very confident in making my purchase at Powermax. Shipping was fast, free and no tax, what a bonus. My new Mac Book Pro works great. They seem to take a lot of pride in what they do and sell and would not hesitate to purchase anything from them.

These folks were amazing. They took my orders, specially shipped one item that had a time constraint and delivered the remaining items in record time. The final shipment arrived about the same time as the notification. I will be buying from them again and again.

My Purchase from PowerMax of a 27" used iMac could not have been more perfect. Excellent customer service, very reasonable price, excellent response, fast shipping. Great product, previously owned but looked like new.

I've used the trade in program several times, and have been very satisfied. I got a fair price for my hardware and will use the trade in program again in the future.

The trade-in program is great. This will have been my 2nd time upgrading my Apple laptop with Powermax. Purchase and trade-in process is easy - especially since there's a sales rep to guide you through the whole thing. Will definitely keep returning to Powermax - as long as they keep their trade-in program running.

I bought a Mac-compatible DVD burner that initially I read offered both USB & FW 400 interfaces, a very hard-to-find device, compatible with my older Macs. The LaCie burner I received did not have USB, but the FW 400 was sufficient, & price was good. I found several problems (wouldn't burn a Toast DVD or iTunes CD, among other problems), & the problems persisted across two different Macs. The manufacturer suggested a couple tests (I'd already done these), then claimed the drive was probably defective. I returned it, at my own cost, received another, & more than a week later I'm still waiting for PowerMax to refund the charge for the second (replacement) drive. And the problems I saw on the first drive still exist with the replacement. LaCie is unable to explain why their drives are incompatible with iTunes & Toast (which they include in the box!). But I can't believe I'm the only one to have this problem. And I'm disappointed in both LaCie & PowerMax for offering a product that has these problems. Had I known, I could have bought an Apple USB drive locally, & had a working burner long ago. Post script: I was credited back the additional charge a full 10 days after Powermax received the defective return. Surprisingly slow processing on the credit, given they acknowledged receipt promptly.

This was the 4th transaction for me with Powermax and all have been simple and flawless.
