Beware
Beware, this company regularly scams its customers and is now buying reviews to try and improve their rating. You want us to believe that you havent had a single review since April 4th and all the sudden you have multiple 5 star reviews all being post within the same hour? Suuure, buddy.
Response from Porch Pirates Mystery BoxesMay 9, 2026
We just relaunched our website for online orders after a five month hiatus on April 30th 2026 and had 400 orders delivered the last half of this week. We also have begun automatically asking our customers for trustpilot feedback via Monday.com and Klayvio as we only had 78 reviews out of the 100,000+ boxes we shipped in the last 12 months. The reviews are not all positive from this week, but are certain more fair than the adverse selection (only the most disgruntled 1% were going out of their way to leave reviews here) that we were seeing before and now that Google’s SEO is pulling from this Trust Pilot page we’re asking our customers to vocalize their experience with us here rather than other places online. This one-star review you just left us, for example, has nothing to do with our product or service. Have you purchased from us before? You and the folks at trustpilot are free to follow up with any of the reviews. The unfounded notion that we have paid for positive reviews simply because we started asking customers for truthful feedback is both untrue and defamatory and we have requested the trust pilot team to investigate. We also will happily volunteer any and all customer communication, order data, tracking, etc to verify that no review tampering has occurred. Thank you.
