Their support is horrible and their servers dont work at all. They flat out lied to my face about something and they didn't help at all.

Worst hosting ever...
Worst hosting ever...
Cpu and ram on panel is like 1%
but in game with 20players online you will have 5tps.
To clarify something else, the same plugins and map on the new hosting work perfectly on a 6GB server.
There is also imaginary bug called "Failed to verify username" which I solved by switching to new hosting.
Response from PloxHostMay 14, 2020
Hello Marko Crafter,
We are sincerely sorry to learn about your bad experience with our host, and we would be more than happy to resolve the issue you are having with us.
Firstly if you are not using your server and your server is up running, your CPU and RAM should not be getting used up entirely. This is why the panel shows at 1%. Keep in mind this is only a percent of ram and CPU usage, not the full amount. You can install a plugin on your server to see the exact amount of RAM being used on your server.
As for having low TPS, this is something we can assist you with as several factors could lead to low TPS and is not always on our end. The most common reasons are having a large number of entities on your server or mods as well as having corrupted chunks on your server. There are settings you can change to have a better TPS on your server, especially if you run 1.15.2.
You can run the same plugins and map on another provider and not get a low TPS due to the fact not as many entities and chunks have been spawned when you first started using your server over time entities and chunks build-up resulting in low TPS.
As for the username issue, this is not related to anything on our end. Its related to Minecraft/Mojang authentication servers. When they are down that, is the message you get in-game. Username is not on the hosting end at all.
We had also reached out to request more information from you about this matter so we could assist you, and you never responded to our request. We would be more than happy to work with you on resolving the TPS issue you are having on your server please respond to our request or open a ticket from your billing panel.

AVOID THIS HOST!!!! (DEC. 2018 UPDATE 2)
I'm going to break this up into a few sections, just to explain it how poor this host is.
1. the site
The site has been down/extremely slow and reliable the last 24 hours. This is EXTREMELY unacceptable as I am unable to control my server or send support tickets. The site has tons of broken links, empty support pages and just plain poor website design. The site can be tough to navigate (when it's actually up). It's hard to submit tickets, which brings me to the next section.
2. Customer Support.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HOST. Their refund policy states they do not give refunds unless they cannot fix the issue (which in their terms means you don't get refunds). They will offer you store credit which is useless as their services are garbage. High priority tickets regularly take 24+ hours (if they even respond). You will not get your money back. If you chargeback via paypal there's a chance they'll fine you, and if they can't get that money their TOS states they'll sell it to a debt collector to get it. Oh, and they have your information from when you signed up. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to use that.
3. the server
The multicraft panel is buggy (due to how they modified it, a few options cant be selected without deleting the footer element every single time) and the RAM usage meter is intentionally wrong. It consistently displayed more usage than what I was really using. probably to sell higher packages. The server has extremely glitchy. It constantly resets itself which is a problem above my power to fix. Running default minecraft the server crashes often with just one player. It's extremely unreliable.
Final words? AVOID THIS HOST AT ALL COSTS. they're garbage and use scummy practices.
UPDATE 12/10/2018:
Since I wrote this review in August, This host has tried to take down my review 3 times. All three times they claimed they could not verify I was a customer. The first time, I successfully verified it. You can see at the top of this review it says I am a verified customer. Everything in this review is 100% legit. They have abused the system time and time again to remove my review. I was banned from their discord for posting a bad review on the review channel. I was banned again on an alt for asking why they ban/delete bad reviews. If this doesn’t tell you enough about the host, idk what will.
EDIT 12/15/2018:
Yet again, they try to remove my review. Including a long response full of inaccuracies.
Time to break it down!
--"Firstly we are unable to verify you are a client of our host as your reference number was invalid and you had not provided us with an email address as we had asked you several times. Any client of ours would know how to give us this information when it comes to reviews. Also, this is the only review you have made. "
This is entirely false. I never provided ploxhost directly with any reference number. I have verified my review with trustpilot themselves, as you can see at the top of my review. "Any client would know how to give us this information" I know how to give the information. I gave it to Trustpilot and they confirmed it. Considering you threaten me later in the reply, you won't get my info. Sorry!
--"Our site had not had any downtime as we currently have a 99.9 uptime the only downtime that our clients had experienced months ago when we were doing updated to the site. There were an email and announcement on our discord channel about these updates. If you were a client you would have fully been alerted about this and aware of this."
This review is from august. Months ago. There was a huge downtime. I couldn't access your discord because 1. your site was down and 2. your discord links were expired. I never recieved any emails.
--"As for our refund policy, we do issue refunds if you are not able to use your services within a 2-day time frame and you have contacted support, and we were unable to fix the issue you had. If we can fix the issue, we usually issue a credit instead, or if the request was not within a 2-day time frame, then credit is the issue instead. As the terms state, you have to contact support about your issue and have a reason for why you want a refund.'
You don't issue refunds unless you can't fix the problem. And guess what: you never admit you can't fix it. Store credit is useless if your service is so bad. I contacted support and was refused a refund. I charged back because you didn't provide me with a good service. Take it up with my bank, not me. Enjoy wasting your time fighting it though. (time which could be used improving your service, like that matters lol)
--"Chargebacks are against our terms as you are required to work with us on any issues you have with services before you issue a chargeback. In most cases, if you charge back without consulting with a service provider and we inform your bank you could get in trouble with your bank as banks require you to speak with the service provider before charging back for any services."
I did try to work with you. You refused a refund. Chargeback time! Also, don't try and threaten me.
--"We also have to pay an additional fee for chargebacks as well. "
This wouldn't be a problem if you actually provided a service not worthy of a chargeback.
--"Recently our multicraft panel has been updated and runs super fast now there are no bugs on the panel. As for the RAM usage, I think you are confused on what percentage is and the actual amount of RAM you are using. A percentage does not tell you how much RAM the server is using it's giving an estimated amount of RAM usage just because its a high rate does not always mean you are using a large amount of your RAM. There is also no way to set multicraft to lie about the RAM percentages this is all built into multicraft."
You can easily fake multicraft. I used an in-game plugin to read actual ram usage and it was wildly lower than what you reported on the site.
--'We will also not tolerate any fake reviews about our host. As of now, we have no way knowing you brought services from us and your review has some parts that do not fit in with the services that we provide. It's also fishy how this is the only review you have made and sounds a lot you attempt to create a false review."
Nothing about this review is fake or fishy. I made this account SPECIFICALLY to share my experiences. You do have a way to verify this is real. Look at the "verified" at the top of the review. "your review has parts that don't fit in" So you're saying you don't host minecraft servers? Because thats the only thing I said I bought.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our host.
Firstly we are unable to verify you are a client of our host as your reference number was invalid and you had not provided us with an email address as we had asked you several times. Any client of ours would know how to give us this information when it comes to reviews. Also, this is the only review you have made.

As for tickets it clearly says on our site all tickets are responded within 24hrs this means at the longest a ticket can take 24hrs to get a response to however those cases are rare and usually are due to significant issues or server setup request. The average reply time for a ticket can be under 1min or 15min max in addition to tickets we also offer discord support and live chat.
Chargebacks are against our terms as you are required to work with us on any issues you have with services before you issue a chargeback. In most cases, if you charge back without consulting with a service provider and we inform your bank you could get in trouble with your bank as banks require you to speak with the service provider before charging back for any services. We would only take legal actions if you charged back a tremendous amount of money without telling us any reason why. There have also been many cases where people will buy services and spend large amounts of money to make a chargeback in attempt to get free services this is why we have chargeback fees for chargebacks and can issue legal action if you were attempting to charge back a tremendous amount to get free services. These cases apply to all service providers and not just ours. We also have to pay an additional fee for chargebacks as well.

Charged twice and wouldn't refund
I ordered a Minecraft server and it took them 8 days to get my payment from me. In that time they charged me a second time due to it being "late" after 2 days. After contacting their support they told me that they couldn't give me a refund until the payment was finished pending.
Five days later after the payment was done pending I contacted again asking for a refund. Upon my simple request for a refund, he went ahead and activated my service manually with the payment so they didn't have to refund me per their refund policy.
"Since you have received your services we would not be able to refund you."
I thought myself it was a pretty scummy move activating the service right after contacting him so they wouldn't have to refund me.
Response from PloxHostSep 30, 2018
We can confirm you paid with e-check when you pay with an e-check your bank has to clear the payment this means we never received the payment until the day your bank cleared it. Since we never received the payment our system will think that you had not paid for your services. Whenever you pay with an e-check to avoid being charged a second time you should let us know this way we can stop the system from charging you again.
We can also confirm with you that your payment was applied by our automated system and not manually. Your server was also set up by the system as soon as it cleared by your bank and was processed and since you paid twice the second payment was applied for the next month.
All that we had done on our end is send you your login information since you claimed you did not receive any login.

Do NOT use this website
Do NOT use this website. All positive reviews on this are most likely fake. I bought a 5$ server and within hours it didn't even work. My connection to the website via browser and FTP transfer were cut off multiple times in a short 3 hour period. I consider 3 hours plenty of time to get their crap together and turn on the server. I repeat do NOT use this it IS illegitimate and my 5$ is gone. If you do, for any reason, you'd better hope paypal will refund you because Plox.host sure isn't going to.
Update: Now they actually TOOK DOWN this review trying to shush me, so I need to give some more info on every step of their process. Step one: pay them with paypal (the only thing that works correctly in this process). Step two: run through your email and their website until you can FINALLY figure out the password for your server. Step 3: upload your ftp stuff for it to disconnect your client (through FileZilla and their website). Step 4: ultimately give up because even if support fixes this one problem (which I doubt because I didnt bother), there will likely be far more problems. Step 5: complain on a review website, respond to 6 emails begging you to change your review, and get your review taken down. Questions about the service? They ask you to recreate every problem and send screenshots and have an infinite chain of support emails that ultimately avoid fixing the problem.
If this review gets taken down again I am giving up 'cause it's not worth it. To recap - No refunds, no legitimate service, (unless you call the "customer support" service), if you buy this after reading my review you are truly helpless.

We are sorry to hear you feel this way about our host and truly understand your frustration.
The way our system works is quite simple and easy to get your server up and running, and our team is more than happy to assist you with any issues you may face.
After we contacted you and confirmed your email, our records can see that you have never contacted support in regards to any issue. We have tested your FTP account and did not experience any timeouts or issues you have described there has also been no reports on the node you were on of FTP timing out.
When we had asked you to tell us what you were doing and trying to upload to FTP you had refused to tell us any information.
Trust pilot had asked you for more information on your review due to the fact it did not meet their user guidelines. We suggest before you post you read about Trust pilot guidelines this way you review is not taken down.

Stay AWAY
I saw the amazingly low rates and thought to myself can't hurt to try it out, I was so wrong I bought my first server as a 4 GB server for a Modded Minecraft Server and the server ran fine... with one player but once people started getting on (5 Players) it would lag hard and I started looking into this and the "ram" you pay for isn't even the ram you get.
If that wasn't so bad, I came back to the service when they released a 50% off sale for Black Friday and grabbed a 3GB VPS that I didn't use once and this VPS was bought with credits and never once used my paypal to buy the VPS but still one month after I was charged by Plox.host for a 3GB VPS for 7.88$ not even the amount I originally paid for which was 3.44$ and was called a recurring discount. After going back and fourth with their Billing Team I was told you can't receive a refund because you've already used our resources (1 Day) any other hosting service I've used woud refund me straight away for a situation like this.
In conclusion Plox.host doesn't care for you and will fight to keep your money no matter what even if it hurts their reputation.
Reply Towards Plox.host
I was never contacted to help make my service work and when dealing with refunds the hosting service gave no consideration to the situation and thought only of the money at play. With the "Non-refundable VPS" that is only if your product is what it is made out to be and that your charging in the proper procedure.
Response from PloxHostJan 19, 2018
We are sorry to hear you were not enjoying our services and would like to clear things up.
The RAM you pay for is exactly what you get there is no way to modify this, so you get a set amount of RAM. You can even see on your server how much RAM you have if you install a plugin there for you should not be making up a false statement like this.
There are also several factors on why your server could be having lag, and this can be due to having too many plugins, overusing your RAM, a Bad ping to a server, improper configs and outdated plugins. You could have contacted our team if you had liked help with optimizing your server.
As stated in our terms we can decide to give you a refund or a credit, in this case, we decided to provide you with a credit cause we were unable to find any issues on your server after testing it several times. You had also agreed to credit instead of a refund.
The reason on why you were auto charge was due to the fact you opened a billing agreement with us to be billed $7.88 every month we have no control over these billing agreements as they are %100 on you and they state how much you will be charged each month. If you had wished not to be billed $7.88 amount, then you simply needed to cancel this agreement with PayPal. We are not allowed to do this unless you have requested your services to be canceled in which in this case you clearly did not request your services to be canceled as there was no cancel request in regards to your services.
You had never contacted us for help but instead demanded a refund once we gave you credits. We were not seeing any issues on your server while testing, therefore, we had no way of knowing you were having an issue with your server. You should of contacted support to sort this out instead of demanding to get your money back for an issue that could of been fixed easily and if we can not fix then you would of got your money back.
We are clearly not about the money or keeping your money here at ploxhost and you have clear if that was the case we would be overcharging you for your services but instead offer services for the lowest price as possible and assure they run properly. We built upon the community and for the community and that's how PloxHost always been.

Horrible
Note: Host being re-reviewed. (8-8-18)
I am re-writing this review because I felt the old review did not contain enough details about my experience with PloxHost. I am a verified customer, as seen on my badge above.
I was scrolling MC-Market, a popular Minecraft forum site, and saw this hosting company. They had bad reviews but claimed they had new management, so I decided to try them out. I bought the 'Diamond' plan which was 6GB RAM, and more than enough to suit my needs. I logged into the server, and it took extremely long to load chunks, about five seconds. I thought this was just because I was logging in for the first time, so I disconnected and reconnected to the server. It still had the same problem with an extremely delayed login time. I tried doing many other things, including reinstalling the server, restarting my client, and restarting the server, but all of that failed. I tried contacting support, and they moved my location, but it still had similar problems. It also was not my ping time, because my ping was 30, which is extremely good with servers. I contacted support yet again, and they moved me to a VPS, which worked okay, but it had random spikes causing my server to lag when no-one was even on. After this experience, I decided to cancel my service.
About six months later, I saw the company on MCM again and saw that they added KVM VPS. I decided to give them a try and ordered a VPS. I tried contacting support because I noticed they were lacking an essential feature called 'Reverse DNS', which is required to send emails to most people. It took about five days, and they finally told me that they didn't have the feature for KVM. I was furious and decided to cancel their service and to never use Plox again. I was also rudely treated by current and former staff, and some of the content was so rude that I can't say it here.
They also tried to take down the review and tried to fake that I was never a customer and also said it was a former staff member but it was more than one member of staff. I would have considered takedown of this review if they nicely contacted me, but it's too late now. They never even said sorry about what happened, and if they still want to do that, they know my Discord and are always welcome if they would like to.
