Awful… the worst lounge we’ve ever booked by miles.
Awful! How on earth they can use the Premium is beyond me. Food was shocking and extremely limited choice, most of the drinks are NOT included in the cost, and the whole place was filled with dirty plates which don’t get cleared efficiently. Service was terrible as the staff looked like they they get paid so little they actually don’t care about it. I’d never go here again.

Disappointing food selection and did get very crowded
Booked the lounge at Vancouver airport for an eight hour wait between flights. I got a good table but the lounge soon filled up and people struggled to find seats. The food was very limited. The salad bar consisted of two trays of yogurt, which was weird, a tray of coleslaw, a tray of beetroot and a tray of lettuce. No cold meats, chicken, cheese or eggs to go with the salad. Hot food was mashed potato, roasted veg, pork barbecue ribs and pasta in a tomato sauce. There was so little sauce on the pasta, that it was really just pasta. There was also a "dish of the day" which was salmon with potatoes and beetroot. There was no mention of the English mustard, liberally squirted on like a sauce, which pretty much obliterated any other flavour. On the positive side, the staff were lovely, there was a good range of hot drinks and cold fizzy drinks, two types of white wine and two of red. And the usual suspects for spirits, but not much of a choice of mixers. Nice selection of little cakes and some savory nibbles

Just sad
Where do I start… booked this lounge where I was sent a receipt number and confirmation code. I showed up to the lounge where I was demanded a printed PDF with a QR code that I wasn’t sent. The manager Maureen berated me for 20 min while trying to get on public WiFi to get a code I was never sent. This is just the hassle you want after 12 hrs of travel. I contacted the company they were unhelpful and offered no apology or resolution and just stood by the fact I should have had a QR code (at least tell people that). This was not in a spam folder and never sent and I was embarrassed in front of others with no help from the lounge. This isn’t a good way to run a business and the attitudes were unnecessary. I’d avoid this place if I were you as they really don’t care how they treat you.

Unsatisfactory experience
Unsatisfactory experience – Definitely not worth the money
I visited the Plaza Premium Lounge while waiting for my flight at Gatwick airport, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience.
The food and beverage selection was extremely limited and poorly stocked. The warm options were practically identical to one another, offering no real variety. There were almost no desserts, no cold cuts, only a single type of cheese, and no fruit selection whatsoever.
Given the price charged, the quality and variety provided are simply unacceptable. I expected a much better standard from a brand like Plaza Premium. I would not recommend this lounge.

Not worth the money
On arrival to the lounge, we were greeting by staff and taken to our table. That is about as good as it gets.
The lounge was far too crowded, queues for sub-par food and only one coffee machine for over 100 people.
The food was cold and was void of any flavour whatsoever and swimming in either oil or water.
The toilet facilities were disgusting with very little room to manoeuvre.
Even before we got ready to go, a server came over and placed a reserved sign on the table, as if to say “you need to go now”. No word of apology or reason.
We could have stayed for three hours but as it was so claustrophobic, we were gone in under half an hour.
How this “relaxing experience” is worth £45 per person is beyond me.

Disappointing and poor value for money
Disappointing and poor value for money
We spent three hours in the Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 while travelling to North America and paid €90 for two people. Unfortunately, it fell well short of what we expected from a paid airport lounge.
The lounge was extremely crowded and felt cramped and uncomfortable. We were allocated a specific table, but there was very little space around us and the overall atmosphere was anything but relaxing.
Although staff were clearing tables, the lounge generally looked unkempt. There were numerous occasions when food or drinks had been spilled and not cleaned up promptly, which added to the impression of a rather dirty and poorly maintained space.
The food was also disappointing. Much of it was only lukewarm and had the feel and taste of mass-produced catering. One particularly unappetising example was the cheese and crackers: some of the crackers had remnants of purple icing on them, apparently because guests had been using the cake tongs to pick them up. Aside from looking unpleasant, it did not seem especially hygienic.
For €90, we had expected a comfortable, clean place to relax for a few hours, with food and facilities noticeably better than those available in the terminal. Instead, the lounge was crowded, cramped and rather grubby, with mediocre food.
Based on our experience, we would not pay to use this lounge again.
UPDATE: After initially refusing any refund, Headout reconsidered following my complaint and acknowledged the overcrowding, uncomfortable seating, cleanliness concerns and poor/lukewarm food. They offered 25% of the booking value in Headout Credits rather than a refund to the original payment method.
