OsmoReviews of playosmo.com

Osmo is a great way to supplement homeschool math, coding, and spelling. I would love to see them cover the entire elementary math grades. My daughter enjoys playing Osmo and doesn’t realize she is learning at the same time. If you have a math reluctant child this may be the system for you.

The program is great. I just wish that I could do the program more than once with my kid.. the pen isn’t really erasable. So when we go back though she can see the answers she already picked.

I chose Osmo over Leap Frog and other tablet learning programs due to the interactive nature of the Osmo system. Using hands on games, markers, books,... in conjunction with the tablet was much more attractive than video game screen only type systems. I do not regret that choice. I do think Osmo's math programs are more plentiful and stronger than the reading programs, and much stronger than the science which seems to be rather limited.

Overall, this is a great product that changes screen time from mindless cartoons to using and thinking minds. My son loves to work with Osmo. I have two reasons its 4 stars -- cost and lack of directions. I have to constantly re-explain things to my son for the directions of an app. I feel there should be a really nice video or detailed explanation of what is needed to do the task correctly for the kiddos. As for cost, that's just a parent complaint. While the items are nice, I think $20 off wouldn't be crazy to assume.

This is an AMAZING program! My daughter has learned SOOOOO much using it. With it hitting all the learning types in one fell swoop. My oldest is way ahead in pre school thanks to osmo. She has learned to problem solve and to do math. Only thing I don't like, is once you buy the pieces not ALL the games associated with the pieces automatically come with them. I also wish I could buy any piece easier. Like I really want the drawing mat for little kids. But, it only comes in a base, set so it is more expensive then it should be for just the drawing mat. But don't get me wrong I LOVE osmo and the design of the pieces working with the game. It really does make a HUGH diffrence to my kids ability to focus and follow directions. I highly recommend this especially if your kids have any kind of learning struggle. It really does make all the diffrence.

I like the program, the cost makes it difficult to do for classroom work.

What a great tool for younger family members. There is an amazing choice of games and learning material. Very bright and colourful, amazing interaction and a simple operating system. My only problem has been when you buy the games from other sources and try to link them. This often doesn't acknowledge that you have purchased the games and will not link up. Other than this, my kids love Osmo!

Osmo makes learning fun and easy with math, reading and coding. Every kid deserves to try Osmo for free.
