Backbone Labs, Inc.Reviews of playbackbone.com

I love my Backbone! Honestly, I was a little skeptical. I kept getting ads for it and couldn't really decide, but I finally said what the heck and pulled the trigger. I absolutely love it. I don't use it too much for Xbox Remote play just because of the wifi I have at home, it's not great. But for COD Mobile and other iPhone games, its fantastic. Absolutely zero latency on controls or anything like that. Highly reccomend!

Xcloud don‘t work

I enjoy it. But… ( READ UPDATE BELOW) :) when i opened package and tried my Backbone I quickly found out that my L2 button was sticky and did not respond fast enough. it must be a manufacturing defect. I have chosen not to send it back to avoid paying tax on the product again ... pity when Backbone is such an expensive product, then one expects everything to work well. ------------------------------------------------------------- Update 13-08-2021 After my review i got a mail from the customer support saying that they were sorry to hear about my bad experience with the Backbone One and offered to help me out. I replayed and road a mail about how I had expended more from a product of that price range. Let’s face it, it’s the most expensive controller support currently on the market while this review is getting written. But! if you choose to buy a Backbone One, I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed. Whether it’s the customer support or the controller itself. I am currently in the process of getting a new Backbone One send to me while I’m writing this. The service has been outstanding and one of my best experiences so far. :) The controller itself is a joy to play with, easy to connect, feels and looks well made. A big 5/5 from me. This this isn't the time I buy a product from them. Thanks to the team from Backbone for the great customer support :) Regards Nicolas

Backbone is great, their marketing for 3 months free of Game pass is deceptive. I feel taken advantage of and now I have 3 months of game pass I can’t use.

Their Xbox Gamepass promotion appears to be a scam with no promotional codes available in-app after purchase. The support team is incredibly slow to respond, is unsupportive and is not acknowledging the issue.

The backbone works great as a controller. I’m very impressed how easy it was to set up and use. I’ve played quite a bit of Minecraft dungeons on xCloud beta using it and have had very little issues. The only things to note are that I limit my use because my iPhone 11 Pro gets quite hot fast (not sure if it’s xCloud causing that) as well as that the adding games to the backbone app by clicking the button does not work well for me as far as xCloud games.

Definitely worth 100 doll hairs. I travel for work so playing at anytime anywhere, for me is a game changer. Long drives, airports, lunch…etc this thing is so awesome!!! My wife bought hers right after she saw mine and we both love it!! Better than staring at social media all day. BACKBONE BABY ALL THE WAY!!!

I really like my Backbone One but it started glitching after ~6 months of use (a button kept firing without being pressed.) I reached out to Backbone and they shipped me a new one.
