Fantastic product and customer service

This company sent me an old model of their "BIOMAX PRO XL Motorized Horizontal Stand". The stand shown in pictures and in the "how-to-use" video shows a very easy transition (pull a lever) to turn the stand from horizontal to vertical in order to store it. This is what is advertised and what I expected. Instead, I was shipped a stand that is completely static (does not adjust). It takes up an entire room when not in use (stuck in a horizontal position), which is completely unacceptable. Instead of making it right, customer service let me know that I was sent an old model and that I could unscrew (disassemble and reassemble) the stand if I wanted to store it vertically - imagine doing that daily. That would strip the screws and possibly endanger myself as well as the product (it's very heavy and took two people to put together). What an insane response. It is illegal to advertise a particular product and send a customer a different product (including an old model). Know your consumer rights. Better yet, stay away from this company. They have no integrity and they will send you an outdated product.

Beware of this company if you require decent customer service. An internet search will reveal just how unhappy customers have been when they needed them. Support another business, these guys are not kind.

The most misleading checkout scam on FX. The item was clearly priced at $968 USD. After entering my address, it switched to CAD — fine. I even confirmed with support that I would still be charged in USD since my card is a USD card. What actually happened is they: Converted USD → CAD using a ridiculously inflated rate (~1.64) Then charged my USD card by converting it back to USD at a completely different rate (~1.37) So effectively, they double-converted the transaction using inconsistent rates, and I ended up paying over $200 USD more than expected. Do not buy from them if you are not actually in the US cause they will scam you on FX.

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about their business practices. I purchased a system that included a $900 motorized stand, along with a PlatinumLED BIOMAX 600 light and professional remote control (totaling approximately $2,100 in additional products). The stand arrived as a large, heavy, and highly complex assembly requiring significant time and physical effort to put together. At no point during the purchasing process was it clearly disclosed that this product would require such an extensive and physically demanding installation process. After delivery, I contacted customer service and spoke with a representative named Madel. I was informed that: - The company provides no installation assistance - They offer no recommendations for installers - And that all sales are final, even for unopened and unused products This combination of non-disclosure, lack of support, and refusal to accept returns is unacceptable for a product of this nature and price point. The items are completely unopened and in original condition, yet I am being denied a straightforward return. Had the installation complexity and “final sale” policy been clearly disclosed prior to purchase, I would not have proceeded. Because of this experience, I am now returning all products, including the BIOMAX 600 light and remote control, and will not do business with a company that treats its customers this way. Consumers should be aware that once you purchase from this company, you may have no practical recourse, even if the product is unusable for your situation. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
