Horrible customer service. Smoker is less than 90 days old and has been used 4 times. Smoker malfunctioned and the pellet hopper ended up catching on fire. Customer service even agreed this is what happened and it is ongoing issue with their product but was told it could not be replaced. If I trouble shoot the problems on video conference for them they might send me some replacement parts and I could repaint it if I chose but they are not allowed to replace full units under any circumstances.

Absolutely horrible company. Ordered a griddle cover from them on July 16 of 2024 and as of the end of August I'm still waiting for it. Have contacted them numerous times and it's nothing but excuses. Busy grilling season, backed up on orders, built a new warehouse, blah blah blah. First I was told they got my order and it's in stock. Then I was told item had been picked. Then I was told it was packed and waiting on carrier. Still no one can tell me when I will receive it or when it will ship. Asked to talk to a manager, after a run around they were going to get one. He never came to the phone and didn't want to speak to me as there was nothing more he could do or tell me. Absolutely horrible customer service. Will never buy another item from pit boss or its affiliated companies ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves as a company the way you treat people and your service to your customers!!! I would give no stars if that was an option.

This is the third bag of Competition Blend pellets that were nothing but sawdust, I’ll go back to Bear Mountain.

Terrible machine. I have the mahogany one. Ive tried upgrading the control panel and it still doesn't hold temperature properly. Set at 180 p4 and it cranks itself up to 225 and any time it drops below 215 it cranks itself to 230 and hovers at 225. Ive tried other p settings but nothing works. I bought it new in 2021 or 2022 but this has been an ongoing issue since new. I've talked to pit boss and they have been less than helpful. I'll never buy another one and hopefully no one else does till they figure out how to make a machine that works properly.

I wouldn’t recommend. I purchased a new pit boss pellet grill. Used 6 times. The display went out. When smoking the Auger quit working and caused burning in pellet hopper. Pit boss warranty wouldn’t exchange. Only agreed to send me parts for me to fix my new grill myself. They still wouldn’t fix damage from burning in to hopper.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We ordered a smoker. About month ago and still nothing. My husband called and they keep giving him the same thing it’s in are were house wating on ups to pickup. So I talked to a customer service man. And he kept telling me the same thing as the others we had talk to before. I do not recommend buying anything from them Especially since I pay 100 some dollars for shipping costs and per thier policy processing and shipping with in 5 Business days of ordering.

Don’t buy one of these cheap made pieces of junk not even 2 months old and auger motor doesn’t work half the time and trying get get any help to fix this piece of junk is like asking for a miracle because they done sold the junk so why do they care. I will never buy another pit boss product ever again. Traeger will always get my business friends told me not to buy a cheap pit boss guess I should have listened.

2 years ago we purchased the Lockhart, an $800 grill/smoker. It has caught on fire with us twice and PB is not willing to do anything but send us parts. They do not cover "cosmetic" damage. I jumped through their hoops, sent pictures and made 3 phone calls. I asked for a credit to purchase another grill (we are 2 years into a 5 year warranty or replace the grill we have; as we are loyal customers, have registered every single product we've had and now we have an issue. The warranty isn't worth a darn. DO NOT BUY A PIT BOSS ANYTHING!!
