Stand by Their Work
I had a problem with the thermostat on an HVAC system Pipe Works installed three years ago. The tech who came to sort it out realized in minutes that it wasn't the thermostat. The Wet Switch at the furnace had gotten damp, even though there was no visible water, and it was shutting down power to the thermostat. He felt the placement of the switch and the lack of insulation on a coolant line were contributing factors. So he considered it a warranty repair, replaced the switch and had me up and running in less than an hour. No charge.
