Beware Amazon pharmacy customers. If Amazon pharmacy gets a defective generic drug that doesn't work on you because the government gives them a 20% wheel room haha. Not only you not get the effectiveness from the generic medicine Amazon will not replace the medicine until your next refill or will they refund your money. I wish I would have stayed with my local pharmacist and they have had such a problem.

I have many meds and use Amazon Pharmacy for their pill pack service. Unfortunately, they’re the only company who does this. They only allow you to select “prefer” insurance. This leads to issues every month with my insurance and causes me hours of time on the phone. I feel like they have an undue interest in this as it will allow any med to automatically process at an Amazon discount (making them the PBM and allowing them to pocket more money). Smells of massive fraud. It’s a terrible service but I need it for all my meds.

Very poor customer service. Every single month it’s the same problem with insurance and manufacturer’s coupon.

My initial prescription was quick and easy. The refill process was awful. My doctor told me to take 1 to 2 tablets a day, but my written prescription said one a day. So I ran out early and tried to initiate the refill process. Due to it being a controlled substance, Amazon wanted and updated prescription which my doctor did. I put in an order and then it was canceled again. This time they wanted my doctor to authorize an early refill request, which my doctor did. And I put in another order. And that order was canceled. By the time I was able to put in a third order I had run out of my medication. I thought I had been proactive starting this process 10 days before I would run out of medication, but here we are. I am going stop cold turkey, and I will have to ramp up on the medication again. Amazon customer representatives repeatedly blamed this on the insurance rejecting the order, but I did not use insurance, it was Amazon canceling the prescription order each time, despite a note of approval on my account.

AMAZON PHARMACY REFUSE TO REFUND ME FOR A PERSCRIPTION THAT I NEVER RECEIVED APRIL 2025 AMAZON PHARMACY CHARGED ME TWICE FOR A PERSCRIPTION THAT I NEVER RECEIVED, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND ME CHECK BECAUSE THEY SAID THEIR SYSTEM WAS UNABLE TO REFUND ME FOR A PERSCRIPTION THAT CHARGED MY TWICE, THEY CANT RECEIVE EMAILS, SO THEY DONT BELIEVE THAT 22.25 WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY GIFT CARD 2 TIMES, TODAY THEY CANCELLED MY PHARMACY BECAUSE I GOT INTO WITH ONE OF THEIR AGENTS WHO SAID I WAS LYING THEN I TOLD HIM HOW I FELT ABOUT HIM AND THIS WHOLE ISSUE THAT I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH FOR OVER A YEAR, BUT IF THEY ARE READING THIS, SINCE THEY CANT RECIVE EMAILS THEY CAN FINALLY SEE THAT THIS 22.25 WAS DEDUCTED FROM ME TWO TIMES, NOT ONCE AND THEY REFUNDED ME LIKE THEY THINK, BUT NO IT WAS DEDUCTED REFUNDED THEN IT DEDUCTED AGAIN LEAVIING ME WITH A 0 BALANCE YET THEY CANT GET SCREENSHOTS SO THEY WONT BE ABLE TO SEE

I have been trying to receive a time-sensitive medication that must be taken on schedule, and Amazon Pharmacy has been unable to deliver it for over a week. My order was canceled once, then delayed again after being handed to a courier, with no updates for more than 24 hours. As a result, my medical treatment has been disrupted. The only “solution” I was offered is to keep waiting, and if the package does not arrive, then request a refund and transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. This is not an acceptable solution when it comes to medication that must be taken on time. Due to these delays, I may now have to restart my treatment from the beginning. For a pharmacy service, this level of unreliability is unacceptable. Patients depend on timely access to their medication — this is not a regular delivery. Very disappointing experience.

Terrible customer service and issues with the delivery. I would be pretty chill about if customer service wasn’t so unhelpful. Now I am passionate about how much I despise this business.

Since we have pharmacy insurance, out cost was not the $25 as represented. It was $311. Our local pharmacy is $315. No help from Amazon
