I was skeptical about this service, so I started by transferring a single Rx I was having trouble getting filled elsewhere to Amazon. That went well for several months so I slowly transferred each of my meds, one at a time. I transferred the last medication, my SSRI, with three weeks before I needed my next refill. When I ordered my refill, I was promptly told I could expect to see it the following day. Later that evening, I was notified that my order was delayed until after the first of the year. I can't go without this medication without serious mental health side effects. So, I contacted Amazon Pharmacy customer service and was told "Sorry, we are unable expedite any orders." I told them I can't go without the Rx and they asked me if I would like to speak to one of their pharmacists to discuss the side effects I will experience. I had to have my Rx transferred back to my local pharmacy to be filled there. It is now the next day and my medication has already been filled by my local pharmacy, so this was clearly only a shipping delay. After all, who isn't on an SSRI these days, right? If Amazon prioritized their patients (yes, Amazon, that is what you call people getting prescribed medications filled, patients!) over their retail customers, they might be worth it. Some of us belive our health to be more important than our next prime delivery.

Wildly slow and unhelpful customer support with basic things for a pharmacy like taking insurance info and making sure you are covered. Also inaccurate and slow delivery times for meds that i finally gave up and paid out of pocket for out of necessity. I recommend any other alternative.

As someone who lives remotely, I rely heavily on Amazon as it's one of the few online retailers who will ship to us for free. As a loyal customer, they've always bent over backwards to help any time something has gone wrong with an order. I've never gotten better customer service anywhere else. My experience with Amazon Pharmacy was the complete opposite. I placed an order for a medication. The prescription was filled and shipped. The delivery date came and went, as did four more days. I assumed I would hear something about this. Finally I contacted customer service. They confirmed that it appeared the medication was missing in transit, and offered to send a replacement. It seems if I had never contacted them, they never would have known or cared that I didn't get my medication. It's not like normal Amazon where they confirm your item didn't arrive, apologise, and give you options. I made them aware that I absolutely cannot run out of this medicine. I was told they cannot guarantee delivery on time and that if I want I can have it transferred to a pharmacy. I'm currently on a rural retreat with no car so I didn't have much choice. I was told my new order "will" be delivered in four days. The replacement order didn't even get to the shipping phase this time before it was delayed an additional WEEK. This would arrive over two weeks after my original order. I cancelled the order from Amazon and contacted customer service again to have the prescription transferred to a local pharmacy (I still am not sure how I will get it). Apparently the offer to transfer the prescription is no longer on the table, and now the local pharmacy has to contact Amazon and get the prescription from them, which they are bending over backwards to try to do. And it turns out the "replacement" order was actually just my next refill. The original (re)fill was lost in the mail, and hasn't been refunded. So now I will have to see and pay for another doctor's appointment three months earlier than I would have before in order to get another prescription. There's been no acknowledgement of this. It's ironic that if I order a USB cable from Amazon and it is lost, they are beside themselves and will bend over backwards to get me a replacement, often within 24 hours. However if the medication that I need to live is lost in transit, there's not so much as an apology, they just chuck you back in the queue and hope things might go better next time. It's not expedited, there's no concern. It was lost by UPS, not them, so not their problem. That was very much the attitude. Unlike normal Amazon, there's also no option of rating your customer service transaction at the end of the chat. I'm not surprised. Stay far away, especially if your medication is at all time sensitive (they almost always are).

I transferred my prescription to their pharmacy on the 15th. It would not let me actually order it until the 20th. System said it should arrive on the 24th. Which was cutting it close, but doable. System showed shipped early morning on the 20th. As of today, USPS has not received it. Today being the 24th. Amazon now shows a 28th delivery window, with it still being in their Arizona warehouse. Which means I will be out before it arrives. Translated their system is programmed to lie to customers and say something has shipped, when it has not!

Amazon Pharmacy is incredibly slow! I can get a ring camera delivered the same day, but it takes 5 days to deliver medicine! On top of that there are some bugs and manual intervention into a broken process is slow! As of now - this is not really recommended.

I started to use Amazon pharmacy recently since it sounded convenient on its delivery. The first prescription order was OK except it took a week long to get it. However, my second refill did not arrive as expected. I chatted and called the customer services twice They told me my medicine was lost in their process. The solution: I need to fix. I had to call my doctor for a new prescription, and went to my local pharmacyy to get the medicine because I had run out of my medicine. Using Amazon pharmacy was just causing chaos instead of convenience!

Extremely slow. It typically takes my medication 5 days to arrive. This last time I ordered it a week in advance and they lost my medication. I ran out over the weekend and have been without it for a week since I’ve had to go through the slow process of calling my doctor office for a new prescription and reaching out to another pharmacy with 24-72 hr reponse times. This was a new medication for me and I was just a few days away from reaching therapeutic range and now I have to start all over.
