Don't do it!
Order lost, no willingness to contact shipper. The took a 90 count prescription and split it up to 3 30s at a higher cost. They don't save you money, time or trouble. Not reliable. Why bother?

I ordered medication from amazon pharmacy. I was expecting to be charged the discounted price from my Prime membership. When I received my meds, I saw I was charged the full retail price which was twice what Walmart pharmacy charges. When I called customer service, I was told there was nothing that could be done.

My experience has been good. My wife, however... they sent her inhaler - that she paid for expedited shipping for - via US Post. They fell into the second great classic blunder. Never go with the US Post Office when death is on the line! (She didn't need it quite that fast, but they don't know that.)

When Amazon pharmacy first started out I thought it was convenient and easy to use. The last year it has become more trouble that it is worth. Recently, medications have been delayed with no communication or expected date of delivery. Prices are not competitive with local grocery store pharmacies. There was a discrepancy between the address on the account and the address on a prescription for my college student 3 hours away and her prescription just sat there under review for a week. She tried chat and they could not help her. It took her 30 minutes on the phone to find out the problem. A year ago she had no problem having her medications shipped to either home or school. The easy solution was to transfer her prescription to a local pharmacy.

Getting a prescription transferred into Amazon Pharmacy is a nightmare. Amazon Pharmacy completely disregards industry standards and does not call local pharmacies to troubleshoot requests or the doctor's offices to request new prescriptions. Their outgoing fax requests are unable to be manually modified to add additional comments that may help add clarity for the other party. Avoid at all cost, it's not worth the hassle.

I have a maintenance (once a day) medication I moved to Amazon auto-refill a few months back. A refill was to be delivered Feb. 14--a week before my supply ran out, and I left on a week-long trip. By Feb. 19, still no medication, no notice. Turns out it was 'damaged in transit. No plan to reissue or redeliver it--even 5 days later. I called, and a robot arranged for it to be delivered the day after I leave. No humanoid could alter this. (I did talk to an Amazon 'pharmacist.') If Amazon can ship me shoelaces or shampoo in 24 hours--why not my prescription medication?

I moved from Walgreens over to Amazon Pharmacy and after six months I'm moving back to Walgreens. I had 2 of 3 orders "go missing" after they were marked shipped, and after this, their agents can't figure out how to refill/reorder. After fighting with them for weeks I was at risk of running out of my med. I had to frantically call my doctor to send a new order to Walgreens. Also, I've had technical issues with their website. It sucks. It's not feature rich or intuitive. It's missing detailed info about your prescription. When I reported one technical issue, their agent told me the web site does not work with some Apple products. I have a brand new iphone and Macbook. There are times when they don't answer the phone during business hours. It rings and rings and rings. Why? You are a pharmacy. Its not worth the headaches and risk of running out of your med. Waiting in line at Walgreen's is totally worth it.

I had a regular 90 day refill coming up so I looked at Amazon Pharmacy to see if it would be cheaper. They initially told me it would be and that they accepted my insurance. So I initiated the transfer to Amazon from my regular pharmacy. When Amazon gets it processed they then tell me my insurance won't work and offer it to me for a 30 day supply with no insurance that would be way more expensive than my regular pharmacy. Screw that. So I transferred it back to my normal pharmacy but it came back from amazon as a 30 day refill. Amazon screwed me up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
