This is the worst experience I've ever had in filling a prescription. There is no transparency in pricing. If you choose to order through insurance you might not know the price until right before it ships. And then you risk missing the window to have it ship on time to receive your meds. So naturally one would select to have it shipped - the problem is you have to make that choice in some cases without even knowing the price in advance! Imagine my surprise when the prior month at another pharmacy it was filled at $20 and so why wouldn't I have Amazon fill it to ensure I have it on time? Then low and behold it ships at a price over $100. Absolutely ludicrous. Don't do it - it is a hassle to manage.

only 1 star because i cant pick negative stars. tried ordering prescription Sunday. just to be told it isn't available in that dose so my doctor sent in order for 2x the half dose. Pharmacist had no common sense then had my doctor call she fixed it. but then they screwed up my insurance. tell me that it will be 24hrs till someone gets back to you. but then that doesn't happen. do yourself a favor stay far far away from this company. they should go back to just selling books. by far the worst customer care service in the world. they are good at one thing The Run Around Game!!!! Just an update It is now the next day and I have over 13hours dealing with this yesterday and now another 6 today and still no where close to fixing the issue

MD sent the RX and it sat and sat until I called only to find out the they had the transcribed the Rx incorrectly and couldn’t change it. Requested another RX to be sent … now Rx is out of stock … imagine that ? 5 days !!! Don’t believe they care…at all! Please don’t use them and ask your insurance company not to use them.

As a pharmacist I'm embarrassed to say that the Amazon pharmacy is the worst I've ever dealt with. I practice pharmacy for over 50 years and I am appalled by the fact that I have tried to order drugs from the pharmacy twice and each time I was faced with hurdles after hurdles and never have received the medication. I love Amazon for delivery of goods other than prescriptions. If you plan on receiving a prescriptions at all forget about being on time do not use Amazon pharmacy. It's a joke. I can't believe it's part of bezos enterprise. Who the hell design the system? That person should be fired. If I can give it minus 1,000 I would. This Enterprise is beyond pathetic.

I have switched my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy from Walgreens but the delivery service is atrocious. They just delivered $4000 worth of prescriptions to the mail room and not to my delivery address which includes my unit number (66 in the building) AND THREW THEM ON THE FLOOR LIKE TRASH! Totally unacceptable on multiple accounts!

Gave incorrect price. Then they said they'd fill it. Then they cancelled it. Then I had trouble transferring to a different pharmacy. Terrible experience. Never again. Price went from $5 to $130 to $65 before I even received. Then it never came

Amazon pharmacy is not to be trusted. Placed an order for a medication. Got a weird message that they were having difficulty filling the prescription to check back in a day or two. I called a few days later only to be told that the medication is not in stock and they have no idea if and when it will be back in stock. I looked online and they still listed and are taking orders as if it’s in stock very misleading. I needed my medication and now I’m out and Amazon pharmacy. In my opinion is a scam, I would definitely not recommend it

pretty bad. the prescription got lost in the bowels of the internet. I had to make several calls and amazon they had tried to contact my doc, but hadnt heard back. in fact, doc hadnt been contacted, but called them and was put on hold. Very long waits, very difficult to talk w anyone. If you can get the medication you need anywhere else, do it.
