To my fellow readers, please note that if you're trying to transfer prescriptions from Walmart to Amazon Pharmacy, it won't work as expected. Amazon only sends transfer requests via fax, but Walmart does not accept faxed prescriptions. As a result, unless your healthcare provider directly sends the prescription to Amazon, you won’t be able to complete the transfer. This issue only became clear after several failed attempts to transfer my prescription. Amazon seemed aware that Walmart doesn’t accept faxes and didn’t inform me during the process. Unfortunately, the system allowed multiple attempts to transfer, despite knowing that Walmart would not accept them. This caused me to lose 2 weeks of time. This is a failure on Amazon on not updating their processes knowing that the transfer is going to be unsuccessful yet allowing the user to believe the transfer is ongoing.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I just spent an hour with Amazon customer service and finally the supervisor. Because of work status change and health issues, I am insured by Medicaid. Long story short; he tells me that they don't deal with medicaid and they don't need authorization from my Dr's office to fill a prescription. This is my first (and last) experience with Am. Pharm. He tells me that my local CVS sent them the prescription which makes no sense because CVS filled the same prescription for $0. It's at CVS to be picked up. Amazon sent me the same prescription for $113.60 and charged a card on my Amazon account (which happened to be my daughter's credit card) Now they're telling me I/she can't be reimbursed for this. I've had a good experience with Amazon shopping but Amazon Pharmacy is awful. Customer Service is awful!!!

They don't know what is posted in their website and if you have an accent they treat you like garbage

They have terrible customer service. I called three times before they told me they didn't know the medical billing code to use to submit the prescription for Creon to my insurance company

I have been a pharmacist for nearly 50 years and I have to say this: Amazon does not know how to run an efficient pharmacy operation. The GOOD: If you are on routine monthly meds (BP meds, thyroid meds, cholesterol meds, etc) it works fine usually. The BAD: If your doctor orders something you might need for mild pain or flight anxiety be prepared to wait for 10-14 days while the pharmacist talks to the prescriber and does a big "clinical review". The UGLY: "customer care" is no more than lipstick on the pig who politely does nothing about your problem. Talk to a pharmacist? I did a couple of times, "Pharmacist to Pharmacist". The result: a complete waste of my time. A clinical review should take no more than a couple of hours, maybe a day max. Not at Amazon. Bottom line: go somewhere else.

This is the worst customer service ever!!! They think that they are working with medications for vets or animals. My prescription was filled and mistakenly sent to my previous address, where my ex-partner resides. While they have acknowledged their error and apologized multiple times, I am facing a significant problem: they will not resend my prescription until it is returned, which is not feasible due to our ongoing legal matters. or until I get a brand new prescription, it means a new dr appointments, and seems more wait!!!

DO NOT TRUST Amazon Pharmacy. I have NEVER placed an order with this pathetic company, however I regularly receive emails from them advising me that they have received my order and providing me with a tracking number. My email address is obviously very similar to that of someone by the name of KAREN who places orders with the company. However, that is NOT my name. I am Kathryn, I live in New Zealand and I have NEVER placed an order with Amazon and due to their incompetence I never will.

This pharmacy is horrible. I was able to get my rx for the first few months and then the price doubled. I realized they werent applying the manufacturers coupon so i spent hours with CS reps trying to get it processed for them to ultimately tell me that as of April 17th they applied a "automatic amazon discount card" that increased my out of pocket by $450. I tried to get it removed without success. They ultimately told me to transfer it out of Amazon. I did. Now the new pharmacy is waiting on amazon to respond. Amazon tells me they "cannot expedite transfer out" requests. Been without my medicine a month. Avoid!
