A nightmare trying to transfer prescriptions to Amazon pharmacy. Me to Amazon Pharmacy chat agent: Hi, I'm trying to transfer prescriptions from CVS to Amazon pharmacy. I tried twice through the website and failed, and the Amazon app said that it got no response from CVS. I went to CVS, and they said they did not get any contact from Amazon and have no fax in their system from Amazon. They said that an Amazon pharmacist can call them at 916 726-4466. Can you ask one of the Amazon pharmacists to contact the CVS pharmacy to transfer the prescription? They did not get any fax the previous 2 times I tried to transfer, and the CVS pharmacist said that they have transferred prescriptions to Amazon pharmacy before, but Amazon needs to call them. Amazon Pharmacy chat help agent: That is what you will need to say when you call in to Amazon Pharmacy 855-745-5725. Then the representative can further assist and reach out to a pharmacist to see if they can help. ... I called this number, and was transferred by the customer care to a pharmacist, who told me I was transferred to the wrong person and they transferred me to a pharmacy tech, who transferred me back to customer care, who said I need to request the transfer through their website, which they acknowledged that I said that I tried twice and failed. They said I could also ask the doctor to send the prescription directly to them, but I said thar we no longer have that doctor or insurance. They had no other solution for me. Their pharmacist wouldn't call CVS to transfer prescriptions. I don't know if I even want to get involved with a company with that level of customer service. They can't make a simple phone call or send a fax.

What a mess. Just a word to the wise, if you activate the OTP feature for sign in security, you’ve just made it impossible for you to get help if something goes wrong. In my case, every single time I try to log in, it tells me I’ve requested too many OTPs for the day, and I can’t log in to my account. Number of OTPs I’ve actually requested? Maybe 2 or 3. Number I actually received? Zero. Why? Because their stuff is broken. But I can’t reach the help page to report this because that, too, is behind the OTP security barrier… I basically can’t do anything to resolve or report this. Amazon’s help people in India are mystified and don’t even know what I’m talking about. Amazing as a whole has badly declined since Jeff left, but this experience is probably one of the worst I’ve ever had with Amazon.

If anyone is thinking of using Amazon Pharmacy, don't! My first order didn't come so when I checked it showed an order hadn't been placed. When I called, they said that happens when they are out of stock; would have been nice to know that. Before I placed my second order said it would be delivered the next day, after I placed it, I get a text saying it wouldn't be delivered for another 7 days; again, would have been nice to know that at the time I placed the order. So, I called my old pharmacy and told them to get the prescription back because they had the medication in stock. They called back and said I would have to call Amazon to cancel my original order. Don't even get me started on trying to get past Amazon's AI answering system to talk to a live agent.

I have moved back to my original pharmacy. Terrible experience with Amazon pharmacy. 1. Difficult to transfer prescriptions from my pharmacy to Amazon. 2. Prices were MUCH higher on Amazon. In the chat they told me that Amazon does not price match. 3. Never received any emails about re-ordering. One day I was down to the last - my other pharmacy would send me text reminders - but not Amazon. I'm out!

My medication was supposed to be here yesterday. Still not here. I have another prescription that requires preauthorization. Amazon is very slow at getting prescriptions filled and sent out. I will not use this service anymore. Way too slow.

when amazon pharmacy first opened, it was great. access via the web or android app was quick with a simple pin code and prices & service was great. in the last month however, service has been horrible. chat agents are absolutely worthless, can't answer simple questions telling you to call a number and talk to an agent. then, they imposed a nonconsensual requirement to receive a text message code to access my account! no more simple pin code. i'm moving back to walgreens, but i can't seem to get them to transfer my prescriptions. hmmmmm?
