Dropped off my GSD pup yesterday for a grooming. The manager in the grooming department informed me that my dog was aggressive when larger dogs came by. I asked her if he was growling and she said no he was touching the fence as if going towards the dogs as they walked by. She also said that maybe he was playing. She stated that I couldn’t bring him in on weekends anymore for grooming when they were busy. It’s obvious this lady needed far more training. She couldn’t tell the difference from a growl which is aggression and a playful pup. It was pretty pathetic her trying to explain to me that my dog showed aggression. I’ve had GSDs and Rotts in the past and this is the best tempered breed I’ve had and only went here out of convenience because I had just moved into the area and we are still unpacking. Normally I groom my dogs. I purchased my GSD from a breeder in Texas who breeds her GSDs for show and is well know in the industry. First of all, my GSD is an American blood line and anyone who knows anything about larger breeds would tell you that these are the most well tempered of the breed. This lady tried acting like she was some sort of expert, but she doesn’t know anything about dogs, in fact, I was pretty specific to her and had to tell her she was “full of s**t”. That’s pretty blunt but was needed given her ignorance. This petsmart if located on the north side of San Antonio. I would never go back and don’t recommend anyone going. Go to Petco. I’ve never had a problem there. Petsmart needs to do a better job with the people they have run their grooming stores.

After purchasing 15 goldfish, bringing them home, releasing them into a 150 gal pond and waking the next morning to find them dead..... I tried to contact the store for two days. No answer and a message stating "no one is available at this time call back another time". After emails with no results other than bring the "DEAD" fish back and no comments concerning the lack of custumer service.... I decided this COMPANY SUX!!!!!! Do not waste your time with these people!!! They DON"T CARE!!!!! I wish I had read the reviews first. There is a reason 80% of the reviews are BAD!!

My wife dropped off her Poodle dog today, Sat. 6.25.22 @ approx. 1100 for his grooming appt. When she returned to pick him up, he looked awful. She asked for a lambs cut, but it looked like a blind person did a hatchet cut on him. I have photos of what was done to him. Needless to say, but my wife is very upset! She went off on the manager and grooming dept. employees. Whomever cut this dog's hair will never groom this poodle again. They reflect poorly on the PetSmart, Abercorn location.

The customer service in the store is terrible. I've not ever been greeted upon entering the store and I'd say about 85-90% of the time I am hardly ever spoken to at the register and almost never thanked for my business. I'm over it. They are not the only pet store in town and I will take my business elsewhere where it is appreciated. They need to teach their staff that a smile and 'thank you" goes a long way!!

Easily the best pet store in my area, the staff are always friendly and willing to answer your questions. Would have been 5 stars if the website wasnt as buggy, and if the promo emails they sent me were more relatable to the animals that I have!

This is for PetSmart grooming service at Antioch CA (Lone Tree way). This should be negative one. In Jan 2022, my wife took my dog there for full bath and haircut. There was a long line on that day, she went home and did not make payment. I went back there to the grooming service and front desk asked me to pay at the store cashier. This morning, my wife tried to make another appointment and was told that we did not payment for Jan 2022. I drove to the store and waited at the door of the grooming service more than 30 min. During the waiting, a lady with blue hair served a customer came after me without saying anything like I was not there. I showed my credit transaction picture to the manager named Lacey. She argued with me that was not grooming service. She worked with another lady in Petsmart and they found no transaction in Jan after I gave them my credit card to verify. I made several purchases in Jan 2022 and they had no record. I had to go home and searched for the receipt. I showed up there again and showed the receipt to Lacey. She looked at the receipt and said " ok..ok" without saying Sorry :-). I asked her to update her record that I already made payment. I doubt that she will do that I wasted 3 hours because of PetSmart poor management and customer service at the Pet Grooming store. I will not go back again.

For about a month now I keep going looking for cows ears are you ever gonna get them back in if not perhaps you should move the sign , Can’t be hard to get them you can buy them online and Amazon but I’d rather come to the store and I guess I’ll have no choice

Well, appointment is at 8, but they want you to leave your pet for 4-6 hours. What is the point of an appointment? Same with the Vets offices. Then the groomer tells me if I want her serviced sooner I could pay for the express service. At that time it was 10:00. Your pet is hungry, thirsty, nervous, anxious, and probably mistreated. Of course she's not accustomed to being in a cage for hours behind closed doors. Actually, I wander what the conditions are back there. She never smelled as though she had a good bath! 🤔. She smelled better when I bathed her. Heartless, money greedy business!
