Update to my horrible experience. Today 10/7/26 After I posted this negative review, no one bothers to call me or reach out to make things right. Instead I get a random text from someone at Petro at almost 10pm asking me if the situation has been resolved. ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! What kind of pathetic horrible company are you running? You clearly do not care at all about the customer. Horrible customer service. My hot water heater went down last week Thursday 10/1/26. I reached out to both the main company line and my South Plainfield branch and I stressed that I have two babies and no hot water. I spoke to various people and I was suppose to get a follow up to get everything done. It is now Wednesday 10/7/26 almost a whole week later and no one has gotten back to me, no follow up. On top of that, they promise a free heater tune up with your plan but they always cancel the appointment on their end. HORRIBLE.

Josefino -We are very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. Based on the conversation with our Service Managers we are saddened to know we were unable to come to a solution mutually satisfying for both parties as it relates to your account. We do appreciate your loyalty and sincerely hope that we may continue to build our rapport with you as Petro remains committed to our customers. Feel free to reach out to us should you have any further questions. Best Regards, Petro Home Services

Very disappointed with Petro pricing. My last fill in 7-15-26 was priced over a dollar more per gallon than all other CT providers. When I called them they gave me a bunch of lame excuses. Their contracts are also confusing and seem to mean nothing for a high fee. I’m switching to a better company.

This company is awful beyond belief, I've had techs come 10 times to fix the same problem that no one can seem to be able to fix. Missed 10 days from work, stuck in this stupid contract and when i said I wanted the contract refunded because they've failed to do what there supposed to they wanted to charge me for all the service calls WHICH IS THERE FAULT for not fixing. Don't get involved with this company, I should have checked there scrappy reviews first.
