I used to love this place until I took my dog last time and he came home with Kennel Cough. I notified the facility & nothing was done about it. Not even a follow-up call. Cost me over $300 in vet bills.

We boarded our dog for a week at Pet Paradise Gainesville. Upon returning to home, we noticed she had symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. I called Pet Paradise, and due to phone lines being busy I left a voicemail (during business hours). Seven hours later, I called and spoke with Olivia who was completely unaware of my phone call, as she was not part of the earlier shift. She stated she would speak with them and find out why my call was not returned. She stated she would contact me back....to which no response was received. Lack of communication regarding an ill pet is disheartening.

I am frustrated, I have been trying to make a reservation all morning today via chat to no avail service. could not get an agent to communicate back even after the icon kept popping up. had to go to a desktop computer to make my own reservation. Terrible mobile version. Cindi love it here so I was really upset trying to make this appointment

Bartram location is the only location I have taken my Boxer to. Since this location opened I have taken him about once a week for day camp with no issues, however, the past 2 times he has been left for boarding, I returned to him with bite marks and bleeding wounds along with a severe rash this time, I called and spoke with the vet assistant that was on duty and she said that she was given a written document from the bather that morning to check in on him and noted that there were issues with the dog at time of bathing. The assistant vet “ did not see him “ before we arrive to pick him up. Once we called her to complain, she asked we take him to another location where a vet was on site can have him examined. The last time I picked him up he was bleeding with 2 bite marks and was told the cameras would be looked at to try and see whom may have done this to him to prevent it from happening again. I do not believe the dogs are being watched/taken care of overnight while boarding. I have not seen evidence of that they are, only that they are not, seeing how they don’t ever know “what happened”. I hope the vet today can provide insight as to what happened! I am leaving this review because I would want to know what actually goes on with my Baby. I do need care for my pup while o am out of town for work but I will be looking for other options after this. It’s unfortunate considering I bring business to this location weekly.

I usually have nothing but great reviews for Pet Paradise, however this last stay was a bit stressful & frustrating thanks to the new reservation system. My husband and I were leaving the country for 1.5 weeks and made reservations for our dogs 3 months prior for boarding. On the day of the dropoff we verified the dates with the staff--picking up on May 21 at approx 4 pm. All seemed well until halfway through our trip I received an email from Pet Paradise thanking me for my *new* reservation for one of my dogs. The email conveyed that the staff was excited to welcome him the following day--BUT he was already at the boarding facility with my other dog. In a panic, I emailed Pet Paradise to confirm my dog (Gizmo) was in fact boarded and sharing a facility with our other dog (Dante). The staff emailed back promptly and re-verified the dates and explained there was some confusion moving to the new system. (No prob. Not a big deal.) Pet Paradise also confirmed in the email that both dogs were doing well and stated they would see us on 21 May. BUT three days later, on 19 May, I received 2 back-to-back calls from Pet Paradise (no voicemail). Again in a panic, concerned there was an emergency with one of my dogs, I called back (via international roaming). A staff member asked me if I was picking up my dogs as they were closing in 15 mins. So, for the THIRD TIME I explained we were not pick up until 21 May. The staff member was nice enough, but did confirm the dogs already got their go-home bath, even though I was not scheduled to pick them up for another 3 days. No apology, no explanation. I understand moving systems can be challenging, however we spent $800 on their stay and I would have expected more organization. Also, when we picked them up it was clear they did not re-issue the go home bath. I don't doubt the care they received, but I am very frustrated with the scheduling situation & how this was handled.

Sadly, the current management has lost my confidence.

We used to board our hound with pet paradise. Even would send our sweetie for day camp as she is highly energetic. I also thought they paid attention to their clients health status but was proven very sadly mistaken. I picked up our dog after a 14+ day stay only to find her really sick. Her ribs were showing as well her spine and hips. I called up and ask what happened. Explanation given to me was that she played too much outside. Our vet diagnosed her with giardiasis and poor nutritional status due to diarrhea. Not pleased especially since there is a vet onsite at pet paradise. She was happy and healthy when she went in. Looked awful and obviously not well when I picked her up. She went on parasite treatment and it took some time on a special diet to bring her back to good standing. I will not willingly send her back to pet paradise if they are unable to judge a health problem. Also concerned abt cleanliness and safety if other dogs

First day Trail was very impressive and that I was! Feeling secured & positive I found a caring pup camp. My fur babi 2rd 2 night/3 day stay was not! I will NEVER recommend this place, I gave written easy instructions on every bag of food, & snacks along with appropriate times, my dog came home with a bag of food( which she was never feed the morning of that afternoon pic up, and All her snacks!! Telling me they never gave her her snacks, made me question if they placed her in the room that I paid 4, with private out door run and if she received the care that they boast about.Called them with my concern, got lame excuses.
