Hello, We apologize for the misunderstanding. We do not charge additional shipping if an item is on backorder. Once the item comes back in stock the order will process and ship out for free. The only charge you will see is for the actual item plus tax since we do not charge for items until they ship out. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
