Went to shop for a few toys and some dog treats for my dog. Found the toys and treats. As I placed them up on register and she scanned the treats I noticed she charged me 13.49 when the sticker said 5.99. When I explained this to the cashier she said and he words I quote “ well clearly you are wrong about the price because that’s NOT what it’s scanning.” I told her I didn’t won’t the item… it wasn’t the price issue it was poor customer service! You never tell a customer that clearly they are wrong! As she went to scan one of the toys it wouldn’t scan so she asked, where did I get it from as I showed her I also showed her the price for the treats. She said oh well the sticker is right but it still scans different. She wouldn’t give them to me for the sticker price! Guess what you can keep your toys, treats and poor customer service! I’ll go to pet supplies. Thank you for your crappy service

Absolutely atrocious. Unethical, deceiving, to the point of lying and arrogant in dealing with customers. Trusting their assurance that their prices are low, even showing a piggy bank with savings in their logo, I purchased from this company three large tubs of Esbilac puppy milk. Only to find that their assurance of a low price meant them taking from me nearly 50% more for the same product than another company, Animed, who give no assurances about the fairness of their price. On contacting the company, the reply was arrogant, stating that different companies charge different prices - contradicting their claim that their prices are low. Does a nearly 50% higher price than the competitor, while assuring of a low price, warrant the term "daylight robbery"? Animed are selling this product at £55.57 and the "cheap" Pet-Supermarket at £74.03, to give the precise difference.

The company needs to significantly improve their packaging when shipping items purchased online. The boxes are flimsy and very poorly taped. Always, meaning every delivery, the packages arrive severely damaged, crushed, torn open and retaped best as possible vix FedEx their shipper. Why do they not value their customer or the integrity of their shipping methods? Pity.....

Two problems I had when placing a, nearly $300 order- 1) Didn't have enough on one card, asked if I could put it on 2 cards. Since, this was a first time auto ship, I did not want to lose the 30% discount (for my first order). I was told "absolutely not". Total bs. 2) At the top, they have "tracking". Well, what is the purpose of that, if the only acknowledgement is noting that the order is "closed" without providing any tracking?!? Duh! You have to speak to a customer service agent, to get them to then forward that info in an email! How primitive. Furthermore, I had to pay an extra $14.99 to have it shipped to Pa. With Chewy it was $0. They sucker you in, to place an order, then at checkout, add that $14.99! Now, I know that is stipulated in the "Shipping" info, but I don't normally read every single category, when ordering pet food. I have given Performatrin Ultra to my cats, and dogs, for years. However, due to the aforementioned problems, I am seriously considering transitioning them to another 4 (out of 5) star food.

A simple refund of less than $10 has cost this company a customer. I had purchased a few items and ended up returning a couple of items that my pet would not eat. I have my receipt as well as the card that was used to make the purchase. The clerk asks me for my phone number and I replied that I don't believe I am a "signed up" with Pet Supermarket currently, and that I am only trying to get a refund. He insists on signing me up for the rewards program in order to issue the refund! And then tells me it's "company policy". Huh?? I end up giving up ALL my info - including email and MAILING address. When I got home, I looked at the receipt again to see if I missed something and it says to confirm refund policy on their website. So I did. No mention of having to be a rewards member in order to get a refund. Then I decided to call customer service and that's when PS lost me as a customer. The guy wasted no time waffling on the answer to my question and then chided me until I just quit talking and let him blather on after initially saying the associate used the wrong verbiage, adding some explanation of, get this, it's an added layer of protection for the CUSTOMER, just in case PS computers mess up and the refund doesn't get back to me. "They would have no record of it and no way to contact you". So, let me get this straight- you need my contact information on the off chance that your computer messes up and doesn't refund the money after losing the contact information that I gave you at the same time the refund is processed. Because you're looking out for ME. I tried explaining to the CS rep that if that were the case, I have the paper receipt showing the refund is due/was paid. I would have gone back to the store and resolved the issue. You know, like normal people do. I don't have to go through ANYTHING like this with any other returned item. And I rarely return anything, it's usually too much trouble. But this pet food is not cheap at Pet Supermarket. Anyway, he seemed way more interested in arguing with me about why they should have the information, before saying that all I had to give was my name and a phone number, not everything else, so yeah, now he's blaming the customer for not knowing this information when I'm standing in front of the associate trying to get my refund. I was forced to sign up for a VIP member account in order to get my refund, was told it is company policy, yet it does not appear ANYWHERE on the back of the receipt, or on the website. This rep was not even interested to know which store this occurred at, so MAYBE they can re-train their employees to use the correct verbiage when processing a simple refund, or to offer a simple apology for the misunderstanding, at the very least. The rep's attitude was unsatisfactory and unprofessional. Very poor representation of the company. I will not shop here again.

False advertising, terrible customer service, unreliable shipping, and zero chance of refunds if to are owed one. Put Pet Supermarket at the bottom of your list of potential suppliers.

The Petsupermart in east Naples has the most rude people working there. I used the wash station for dogs and all the shampoo that they give you to use was watered down so bad it was hard to get it to soap up . The vacuum hose is bad and it smelled like pee were I was drying my dog. I have gone there for many years and have never seen it run so poorly. Mcoyle
