I couldn't be happier with my PersonalHour Janet Elite Plus Pilates Reformer. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed by the quality of the shipping and packaging. Everything was exceptionally well secured, and it was clear that great care had been taken to protect the equipment during transit. The unboxing and assembly process were surprisingly easy and straightforward, with clear instructions that made setup quick and stress-free. Once assembled, the Janet Elite Plus immediately stood out for its premium craftsmanship and beautiful design. It looks and feels like a true studio-quality reformer. The materials and construction are top-notch, and it feels incredibly sturdy and built to last for many years. Easy to order and receipt of reformer. Arrived in a large crate and was very easy to set up as instructions were clear. Reformer works well and is versatile as it comes with an extended footplate and jump board. Quiet & smooth carriage. While I use it mostly in the open position, it is very easy to fold & unfold should you want to do so.

After a year of the repeated and insistent urging of a close friend and Pilates addict, I started taking Pilates classes around 6 months ago. I have also become addicted! After much thought and research, I made the decision to invest in a home reformer. I am so glad that I decided on PersonalHour! My Janet Elite (I’ve named her The Countess) is amazing: gorgeous chocolate color; solid maple frame; heavy duty ropes and straps; incredibly comfortable; and SO much fun! The box, jumpboard, and other included accessories are great. I still take classes every week, but now I also have my own private studio, open 24/7! The PersonalHour training videos are an invaluable resource. I have enjoyed many happy hours with The Countess, and look forward to many more. Thank you to everyone at PersonalHour!

I LOVE my PersonalHour Pilates Reformer! I ordered the Janet Elite 2.0 reformer, which was delivered around 7 days after placing my order. I was kept informed of it's progress throughout transit and the company made sure I was available on the day it was delivered to my home. I utilized the online guide to unpack and pull the pieces together and complete the setup. Following along with the online instructions was easy with the majority of my time spent opening the packing crate (it was well protected for shipping). The quality of the reformer, the delivery process and the workouts offered online have been fantastic. I did initially have to place a call to Customer Service to request access to the downloaded app, but they responded quickly and I was able to enjoy my first workout in the app within 2 hours of my call. I can't say enough about the quality of my reformer and every workout has been great. The company communicated well throughout the purchase process and responded quickly when I needed setup for the app. I am extremely happy with my purchase and think PersonalHour is a great company to buy from.

After attending Pilates classes for four years it was time to get a reformer for home. With the cost of a monthly membership, it will pay for itself in 14 months. Bought the Janet LaForce Plus. Did not have the troubles with assembly that others did, it comes mostly assembled and the video on the website was pretty straightforward. Great quality machine that is also beautiful, I really enjoy using it, it is very nearly as good as the studio machines in my opinion. I do wish the pegs for the straps were on the outside of the rails, as the heavy metal clips make a lot of noise on my wood floor when the carriage is in motion. I usually end up throwing them off the pegs and then having to get up to retrieve them when I need them again. But this is a minor thing.

I ordered a Zous reformer after many enjoyable sessions on my sister in law’s Nour model. I chose an in-stock chocolate version with quick shipping, and it truly was quick for freight - the big heavy box from Ohio was at my house in Utah in about 1.5 weeks. The shipping emails from customer service to verify delivery details were prompt and I received a fast response. I used a crowbar & mallet to open the sturdy box, and was happy to see everything packed very securely plus fortunately it was partially assembled. The reformer is well-constructed and operates smoothly and quietly. I am glad it came with an assortment of platforms/attachments and straps. I have certainly been enjoying it, and LOVE the rich chocolate color. For model, I was torn between the Zous vs the Nour. I chose the Zous because of the extendable legs and the fact it has 6 rather than 5 springs like the Nour. For a foldable model, based on the number of springs and some comparisons online I presumed Zous could be set with heavier resistance vs Nour. That and the possibility to raise the height helped with my selection, as I thought these options would be appealing to my husband if he were to use it too. I was surprised though when I unpacked it that the 6 springs were 2 each of red, blue, & yellow. The Nour I’d used had 2 green rather than blue, which is heavier resistance & resulted in my Zous having a similar resistance range as the 5-spring Nour. It is possible though to purchase springs, so we do plan to buy a couple of greens which will increase the range. I do like the extendable legs, which are not difficult to adjust and are stable. They do however need to be compacted to the shortest height to be able to fold the machine, which would be very inconvenient if I needed to fold it often. Of course, they are also not as pretty as the fixed wood legs on the Nour, but I knew that. My workouts on both Zous and Nour machines are equally smooth and satisfying. Overall, I would have been happy with either model but ultimately since I will rarely ever fold my reformer and with the option to buy more springs, the lower price of the Zous was a great choice for me. These are quality machines and I would absolutely buy from Personalhour again.

Reformer arrived in lovingly secure packaging and appears to be constructed of very durable and functioning parts. My foldable Janet has been easy to fold, move, and set back up when I convert my exercise space back to a guest room. It has been very quiet to use and functioning well overall. One issue has been the arm strap ropes getting caught in the roller guides and frame which can impede carriage flow during a workout. However, everything else about this reformer has been top notch!

Ordering my reformer was super easy and customer service was super helpful with all of my questions. My only complaint would be the transportation logistics. The logistics team scheduled my delivery, and they put it on a tractor trailer which would not fit on my road so my husband had to leave work early to meet the delivery driver. He was super kind and helped my husband load it to his truck but when we got it home it wasn’t the easiest to offload. The logistics team knew a tractor trailer wouldn’t fit on my road because they tried to deliver to my friend the week before so I feel like if they looked at the route or the driver told them to get a box truck instead we could have avoided my husband having to leave work. I would also suggest putting a QR code on top of the crate to show how to properly open the crate. That information is inside the packet that’s inside the crate so figuring out how to open it was challenging. I love my reformer though so we will rate it 5 stars. A few kinks could be ironed out though to make it super smooth.
