Great place to view my financial picture in one snapshot. long load times for some banks though

Personal Capital is the best tool to track finances, expenses and investments. There is inter-connectivity with all accounts, good spend classification and ability to modify. And comparisons across various time periods can be done easily.

Love Personal Capital. The only thing that would make it better is if my 401(k) account with Newport Group would show up on Personal Capital.

Amazing and useful tool

I love the app and website, tips newsletters, etc. My only complaint is having to identify line items that recur monthly so they appear in the correct category. It's also not clear to me how my checking and PayPal accounts are recorded; transactions that go through PayPal seem to show up in PC twice. I'm not learned in double entry bookkeeping, so I'm not sure how to read the PC interface. It's confusing.

Great product that allows you to see the full financial picture.

I used to have Quicken prior to Personal Capital and never got my real net worth. I was little reluctant to share my bank details in Personal Capital, at first, but after reading reviews on multiple bank websites and blogs, I was convinced and started using this. Now I am a big fan of this and never opened Quicken after signing up on Personal Capital. I never received any marketing calls but heard from my friends, who have received them. I am so far happy with my decision, as long as Personal Capital don't sell my information.

Overall very clear and transparent. It breaks down my mutual funds into the different sectors of stocks they own. Makes your investments very transparent. Also seems to work well. Only bad things are sometimes it take a while to update with my bank and a lot of it is very blanketed in the sense that it's not personalized for you.
