The service is extremely slow - while we don't know that the staff is inexperienced, that was the feeling. The reason for the poor review is finding hair on our plate, and not just once that evening. Very disappointing it didn't seem to get reported to the manager, and we didn't see the manager at our table the entire evening. They could improve in time, but it won't be us going back.

Perry's Steakhouse Loses Culinary Culture For Profit
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this Perry’s Steakhouse experience was beyond disappointing and honestly hard to believe. We came in for a special occasion expecting elevated service and real hospitality, especially after spending over $2,000, but the evening was mishandled from beginning to end.
The most unacceptable part was the complete lack of basic customer care. My wife was left waiting in the car while I tried to resolve the situation inside, which was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely inconsistent with what a high-end restaurant should stand for. For a place that markets itself as upscale, the service was disorganized, dismissive, and shockingly indifferent.
What made it worse is that the problem was never truly addressed. Even after contacting the corporate office, we were still met locally with the same incompetent management and a vague promise of a $150 coupon that has still not arrived, along with being told the wine-spill dry cleaning would be covered. That is not accountability. That is damage control without follow-through.
At that price point, you expect professionalism, respect, and a genuine effort to make things right. Instead, it felt like our concerns were brushed aside and our business was taken for granted. A restaurant can make mistakes, but how it responds says everything. This place showed no real concern for the customer or the experience.
Perry’s lost sight of culinary culture and hospitality in favor of profit, and that is exactly what this experience felt like. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values attentive service, consistency, or a dining experience that matches the price.

I had the worst prime rib ever!
I had the worst prime rib ever!! Half of the prime rib was not edible and barely able to cut with the knife I was given. On the other had my wife had steak and lobster that she stated as fine. When I expressed my feelings about the rib the only reply from our server was he did not charge me for my beer. I doubt if I will ever return!!

Worst Dining Experience Ever!
Worst Dining Experience Ever!
I can't even begin to describe my terrible experience at this restaurant. From the moment we sat down, it was a disaster. After a long wait, we were finally greeted by an employee who poured water and said he was not our waiter.
The service was incredibly slow. Our server barely acknowledged us and seemed more interested in another room than taking our order for drinks and not the entire meal. After waiting over 30 minutes for our drinks, we finally got them. My lobster bisque arrived cool—the waiter offered to heat it, but after such a long wait, I was afraid it would be another 30 minutes! The food arrived almost an hour later, and although the plates were hot, the food was not.
The atmosphere was no better. The place was noisy, and the tables were so close together that we could hear every word from the table next to us.
After sitting at the table for over two hours, we asked for our meals to be boxed and dessert to be taken away. I spoke with a manager, and he said they were busier than expected. It was Christmas week, and all restaurants knew they would be jammed and needed to make accommodations, but not Perry’s. The manager did comp our drinks the problem; each person had a different consumption, and one had none. The entire bill should have been comped. This is the worst dining experience I have had, and if it weren’t for the others, I would have walked out the door. I will NEVER return to Perry’s again and strongly recommend you avoid it if you value your time and money because it is pricy.

We had 8:45pm reservations for a celebration dinner as I stated when making my reservation on the Open Table app. Getting caught up in graduation traffic, I called the restaurant to say we were running a few minutes behind schedule. I was told keep in mind that the doors would be locked at exactly 9pm. Google still says 10pm! When I stated that Google said they were open until 10pm, she laughed on the other end as she stated no, we are not. Restaurant was told this was a graduation dinner, she could have handled it differently and said we lock the doors at 9pm so if it is a minute or two later, please call us and we can let you in. I felt so extremely disrespected as a customer. Things happen but it is how this was handled. We in fact did arrive in the parking lot at exactly 9pm but I was not going to walk up to the locked doors. Instead we went to another restaurant right in that area to have an amazing dinner.

No cap policy revealed Perry’s implicit…
No cap policy revealed Perry’s implicit bias by asking guests (male and female) with no exception or grace warning from dining in their main dining area.
The second manager informs us that the only head wear that was asked to be removed was ball caps. I ask why, of all the choices that Perry’s were laser focused on ball caps? He shrugged as if he didn’t know but behind his eyes he knew why ball caps, with their relaxed attire policy.
There was no disclosure, like house of cards, when I made our reservation and they took our credit card, when we entered the building (signs nor verbal no cap notification) it wasn’t until our party was seated and one party member arrived with a ball cap that our table was harassed by three requests to remove the cap or move to the bar area with our party.
The dress policy was discussed after seeing people with cotton beamy hats, gumshoes, sweat pants, & jeans.
Our party member after responding one manager and 2nd twice that they were so uncomfortable about removing the cap or moving to the bar, they said their goodbye’s to the remaining four people in our party and departed. Their departure heightened my curiosity about this policy I was not aware of. Two people in our party never heard of the NO ball cap policy. The second manager had to go through four layers on their website/app to reveal the policy. How deceptive!
The server was amazing!! Finally we had enough. We could see clearly what was happening. We cashed out, paid for our drinks wiping our hands forever from Perry’s. We departed without eating at Perry’s, after 20 minutes of harassment and discussions with the managers. We arrived at restaurant near by pivoting our dinner party, but without that fifth person who wore a ball cap.
I will NEVER spend money with a business that overtly wheels deceptive / whistle-blowing practices/policies.
