Buying our first home was a daunting task, but Valerie and the staff at Perl made the process as quick and easy as possible. I would definitely go through Perl Mortage again.

I was hesitant to go with a third party broker rather than my bank, but it was actually a great decision. They got me a much better rate, much better down payment requirement, and most importantly: infinitely better service vs just being trapped in checkbox-bureaucratic-dystopia at BigBank Co. Switching from my bank to PERL also had a bit of a time crunch, and I have to say I was impressed at how quickly they could move. Beth and her team are spectacular.

We closed last Friday June 22nd at 8 am with Chicago Title in Geneva. We completed the closing at 1:30 pm Very Frustrated. I don't understand why the closing statement changed from late Thursday to Friday then many times during the 5 1/2 hour wait? Also I understand that you do not control the person doing the appraisals but to be purchasing a three bedroom and his comps where all two bedrooms. I would think the third bedroom would add to the appraised price.
