Penji has been absolutely amazing to work with. The speed of delivery is incredible, and I love that they don’t just send one design and call it a day — they give me multiple options so I can choose the direction that fits best. The designers I’ve worked with have been spot on in understanding what I’m looking for, and one of my favorite parts is that I’ve found a consistent team of designers I can work with repeatedly. That makes such a difference because they get to know your style, your brand, and your weird little “can we make it pop, but not too pop?” requests. Adrián, my Art Director, has been exceptional. We’ve worked together on many projects, and he’s been fantastic at keeping everything organized, moving, and on track. He makes the whole process feel easy. What really sets Penji apart is that they genuinely want to be part of their customers’ lives, not just another vendor checking off tasks. They even made a wonderful video of the team celebrating the birth of my second child, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Penji is fast, creative, organized, thoughtful, and full of talented people. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. They’re not just a design company — they feel like an extension of our team.

I have very specific requirements and after a few months I was concerned that the way I wanted to work was not going to fit into Penji's business model: I wanted to make ongoing changes and upload revised files and have the designer use my uploaded files rather than trying to replicate what I did. After some back and forth, we have a good flow and the designers work within my parameters. I have many clients with vastly different needs. The Brands help keep things organized. Everyone is professional and customer-service oriented. If something doesn't land right, they go above and beyond to fix/rework it. And seem to have endless patience.

We love using Penji. We are a small business, it is difficult to have a full time designer on staff. Being able to have access to controllable design and being able to rely on relationship based designers is amazing. It’s only been a month using Penji, and they’ve been amazing. Things started off a bit rocky due to some unique requirements for my business, which created some initial friction. However, those were quickly and thoughtfully resolved in a meeting with the co-founder, which I really appreciated. It showed a strong commitment to supporting us and retaining us as a customer. Since then, the experience has been great. I’m especially grateful to Luis, our art director, for his diligence and strong project management. We're a small nonprofit newsroom, so we don't have a full-time designer on staff. Penji has been a useful solution for keeping up with the volume of design work we need — social assets, event materials, presentation decks, that kind of thing. The on-demand model is the real selling point. When we need something, we can request it without scoping a whole freelance project. That said, revisions can be a bit of a loop. Sometimes the first pass misses the brief and it takes a couple rounds to land where we need it. And that gets a little bit frustrating sometimes. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you have very specific creative direction. Overall it's been a solid tool for a lean team that needs design support without hiring for it.
