I wouldn’t recommend it . They have places in Vegas for rentals and they cancel on you every 2 months I had this incident happen 2 times exactly 2 months apartment on a special occasion I wouldn’t recommend .

Peerspace does not protect the end user. If a property manager wants to charge your card for more money after the event ....PEERSPACE WILL LET THEM WITHOUT PROOF OF ANYTHING. I would never use PEERSPACE again. And in addition you will be recorded the entire e event....not worth the lack of privacy!!

This is the worst experience ever. I asked a host questions, they never responded with the 48hrs posted. I went ahead and booked never heard anything for two days. So I contacted Peerspace and they gave me three other suggestions. Well one of the other properties was owned by the same host so I didn't go down that road. So I withdrew the request. I asked questions of another host (one of the three suggestions) she never responded within the posted 8 or so hours. I went ahead and booked (thinking it would make a difference). Three days later still haven't heard from this host. Peerspace had the options I needed for a small venue to host a baby shower. But I'm not impressed by the hosts thus far. Great concept though. I'm so frustrated because I'm a driver over the road and don't have time to physically go look for venues and I have two weeks now until the event. I've already wasted a week on these hosts.

The worst experience I have had with an company while renting out their space for two hours. This guy Rashon canceled my paid event without my permission, my consent, and didn’t communicate at all just sent a email the day before knowing my event is the next morning . I’m an model who all I needed was a loft for two hours to do a commercial shoot and Rashon cancelled because I ask if they had two sinks and a shower. I was just asking questions for preparation but this was after I spend the full amount . I will not be doing any future with this horrible company. I would not recommend.

I tried to figure how can I figure if a place is available on a certain date/time, I didn't find any other way for doing this but to send a booking request, while the request was pending my client didn't approve my choice BUT by the time I got back to Peerspace the booking turned out to be confirmed and Peerspace charged me $60 for cancellation. Really?! I sent a support message to Peerspace about it and nobody ever got back to me. So Peerspace is just another monopolist on the market, providing standard services and doesn't care about it's client's needs. I will try my best to avoid using Peerspace in the future. . Wanted to rent a site for wedding. Sire was 200 an hour and I wanted this for 8 hours. Put my date in put the hours and number of people. Came close to 2 000. 00 I paid for the booking only for my booking to be expired twice because I would need to talk to wedding coordinator. After hanging up with her that price of 2000.00 now is 6950.00. This is wrong and completely misleading!!!

I don’t know where to begin. But I’ll tell the story as quickly as possible. As promised I told them I was going to write my review. The day of my party I flew back from Vegas, got home at 10AM took a nap until 3PM so that I could get up and start gathering items for my party that night at 10PM.. I kept getting a random call from a California number. These days no one answers unknown calls. My voice mail transcribed it and I saw “peer space” in the message so I called back. I’m told that I needed event insurance or my booking would be cancelled without refund. Then the PeerSpace rep quotes me saying it ranges from $30 and up. I immediately started panicking because I’ve only used Airbnb and never had to think about insurance when booking. Mind you it does makes sense, but the way they handled this is sketchy, confusing and will guarantee to leave you with a head and heart ache. I tried calling my AAA to help me find insurance but it was late in the weekend.. offices were closed. So here I am left with the option to purchase insurance they “suggested” that cost no less than $150-200 for my 4 hour party that was not budgeted in. I asked where was the notice before I submitted my money? Literally paid and received the information to the booking and all. But was threatened that my booking would be cancelled by peer space representatives if I didn’t show proof of insurance. They sent me articles from their website where event insurance is a requirement. I broke down outside of sams. I had everyone on their way to this party and didn’t have insurance. I finally found the apparent insurance info on their page (it was not easy to find at all.. literally buried under 2 different links at the bottom of the page last paragraph.. I kid you not) I screamed at the representative asking why wasn’t there a post or pop up about insurance when I was going through the actual booking like they have the Covid notices?! This man said the insurance requirement is laid out in the terms and conditions when a user creates an account on peer space… not when we are booking, but in the little fine print when creating an account… I made my peer space account 3 years ago. This weekend was the first time I booked with them… ever… lol Anyways upon reading through their crap, I found this interesting. Because I’ve met with the owner of the space, he knows where I work and we were set to go. The verbiage of the policy is so confusing and vague it’s almost as if it’s set to set you up for failure. **It will be at the Host’s absolute discretion as to whether they accept the booking or not under these circumstances. Where a Host accepts a booking from an uninsured Guest, the Host indemnifies Peerspace against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by Peerspace arising out of or in connection with a Host accepting a booking from an uninsured Guest. ** They never mentioned the above to me. I even said they can keep my card on file if needed. But the host called me back and ultimately told me that I was fine he trusted me. I then received another email from peer space with my booking cancelled.. 2 hours before my party. I tried to call and let them know the host approved my booking without insurance and of course they were closed. They couldn’t even call me back before canceling even though the rep stated my last call would be by 730 that evening. I only received the cancellation at that time. My party was beautiful. I thank the host 1000000 times. Tipped him even. I didn’t even tell my guest what happened but I have amazing friends that cleaned that place up spotless. My only thanks goes to the host. Peer space will not see me again. The way everything was handled was terrible. Beware and read everything. Save yourself the trouble

Great for renting out your space. Peerspace does a very poor job if your space is damaged by a renter. They require security camera footage of the actual damage happening WITH a time stamp in order to make a claim for the damages. A renter did significant damages to my space and Peerspace is refusing to reimburse those damages without security camera footage. Anyone who has a space would know you’d needs a dozens cameras all of the space to get this required footage even its even possible to get. With any damage, Peerspace requires the renter to pay first before Peerspace’s insurance covers anything so renters are obviously going to dispute any damages because of the burden of proof is too high.
