Paywithmoon's Refund Process is a Sketchy KYC Trap
The platform worked fine for months until they were abruptly kicked off their supplier (As i suspect this is not 100% confirmed and they haven't made any statement regarding it themselves) - (a Mexican bank). Afterward, they refunded remaining card balances to platform credit which is useless since you can't spend it anywhere. They eventually offered a BTC refund option, which initially didn't require KYC. I submitted my request and waited over a month. When I checked back, my refund request had vanished entirely. Trying to resubmit now triggers a KYC requirement despite no verification being needed when I first requested the refund. This makes zero sense. Support Conversation: Me: "I requested a refund a month ago; it was pending, but now it's back to credit and wants ID verification for resubmission?" Olivia (Support): "All users who submitted off-platform refunds after the program pause must now verify to ensure compliance with our terms of service. Let us know how we can assuage your concerns." Me: "That makes no sense. I could buy cards without KYC, but now when the platform is down and credit is worthless you demand KYC to get my money back?" Olivia: "We understand, but cannot take action without verification. Complete KYC and we'll gladly help." They completely dodged my question and hide behind this new requirement. I've seen similar complaints where they claim "banking standards" nonsense. They didn't require KYC when refunds were first requested; this is clearly a deliberate barrier to avoid paying out. Even if I completed KYC, I suspect it would sit pending forever until (or if) the platform relaunches and they'd just issue a card. While I don't think this is a full exit scam (the company still operates), recovering existing credit is unlikely. They took $100+ from me. Bottom line: Paywithmoon works when functional, but if you have stranded credit, consider it gone. Don't expect a real refund.

We understand this situation is frustrating. Once the required account verification is completed, refunds are processed in accordance with our policies.
