Awesome, effortless experience

I really liked Payne up until my last order. I ordered a pair for my son. It’s the same pair from 2021 but with different lenses. When he received his glasses, he couldn’t see out of the new pair so I contacted Payne via email and they quickly responded. They offered to remake his glasses. The only problem with the remade glasses were the thickness of the lenses. It has almost doubled. At first, they asked for the prescription so I provided. They tried blaming the PD since I measured myself. Please note Payne encourages you to measure your own since they provide the ruler with every order. Payne blamed it on the size of the frame. Only problem is that this is the exact same pair from 2021 and only difference is the thickness with the lenses. Then they blamed it on his prescription but I was able to show them a picture of his old glasses (left lens) and the new glasses (right lens) which had the same prescription but the lenses were double in thickness. I love ordering glasses online, doing this for over 10 years. I have encouraged my family and co-workers to order online to save money. Mistakes happen and I get it but when a company doesn’t take responsibility for their mistake, this means to stay away. Hope your experience will be better than mine but there are plenty of options out there. Eyebuydirect is my favorite, goggles4u and Zenni are wonderful options. Please do not take one bad experience and give up ordering online. Save money and order online! I certainly plan to.

I've had to buy glasses online for years because my prescription changes frequently. The most recent 2 pairs I got from Payne and I have been pleasantly surprised. They were the only online seller who would make my glasses because of how complicated my prescription is. I order 1 pair for near and 1 pair for distance. Both have large prisms and in both directions. The first time I order from a new place typically there is an error somewhere in all the mess but Payne Glasses nailed it CORRECTLY the first time on both pairs. I can't tell any difference between the $60 pair and the $600 pair.

Inadvertently order the wrong item and they were extremely helpful in correcting the issue. Will definitely order from them again

This was my first time purchasing glasses online. I need progressives and prisms and this combo is not available from most online sites. I was nervous as to how it would work out without being fitted in person. Would I like the frames in person? Would the progressives be in the right place? What would the lenses themselves be like? Well the glasses I ordered exceeded my expectations. They came quickly and I was able to track them the whole way. Being able to virtually try them on ensured I knew what they would look like. The quality of the lenses and frames, the fit, and the placement of the progressives make these the best glasses I have ever owned, including the very expensive ones I bought from my optometrist. On receipt of my first pair, I immediately ordered a second pair with a different frame. The only thing I would suggest is that if you have progressives, definitely send a picture of yourself up close to show where your eyes sit in the frame. I did that with the first pair and the progressives are perfect. With the second pair, I just clicked on one of the pictures that show where your eyes sit in relation to the frame. I didn’t pick correctly and my progressives sit a bit too low in the second pair. But that is my fault and I can still wear them for most things. L

My first order was for sunglasses.Amazing. I loved the frames so much that I ordered a pair of progressives. Love them too! Great prices and customer service.

I've now bought a couple pair of glasses from Payne. Every pair, the vision is crystal clear. I'm really liking and get lots of compliments on the pair of Lotus glasses I just got. Their sunglasses, but with prescription strength clarity. Will surely be buying from this company in the future.

I'm always unsure about buying prescription glasses online. I'm very pleased with my purchases. I bought sports goggles and transitional glasses for my son and I bought myself a pair. The quality of their glasses is great and very inexpensive! I'm so happy I found this site! I'll definitely be ordering again!
