very mixed review
There are great things and not so great things: they average out to two stars. First and foremost: Pawrade and PetPay are the same thing... Our puppy concierge Beth was excellent - she was responsive, very timely and really ready to make things happen the right way! Interaction with her deserve all 5 stars. From there on it went downhill: once I agreed to getting the puppy, I asked the questions about security of my personal information stored with PetPay. According to PetPay, I turned out to be the only one from more that 4 million people who asked about the security of the ID information stored in the age of frequently stolen identities... I was told that the supervisor will be called. Jennifer, the supervisor, called me 3 (!) days after I asked the question, she called to immediately start threatening me over the phone that if I do not agree to transfer all the information immediately, the transaction needs to be called off (after everything was paid in full, thousands of dollars, and with more than a week before puppy's 8 week age)! No explanations or simply providing standard agreements/small print were even offered. After this threatening hurry and me regretfully realizing that the only way to get the selected puppy with Pawrade/PetPay is to provide the ID, I had to wait another 5 days to hear ANYTHING about when the transportation will be arranged, again that was after airpanion fair of 1100 plus commission was paid in full for the in-cabin flight nanny. The nanny was great! Thank you, Justin!!! And then, after I submitted our vet exam documents and also submitted the documents for the needed anti-giardia and anti-coccidia and anti-hookworm drugs, as all these were found in the puppy's stool, I again heard NOTHING for 4 days, except the invite to review the transaction. I hope the puppy will be treated soon and heal well, this way she will have a happy healthy life. Just to make a clarification after reading the reply from Pawrade/Petpay: I have NEVER refused to provide my ID, I just asked to either have information on how uploaded ID file is protected, for how long it is stored and what happens in the instance that information is stolen. Alternatively, I asked is it's possible to provide ID by video and/or with a letter from notary public. After all, there are multiple services that use this type of ID verification online and I have used these multiple times when signing documents. And instead of immediately threatening to cancel the sale, maybe looking into this would have been a good thing for everyone? I was not even referred to/provided with any additional information when asking the question. And in the reply to my review I'm to blame again... I would have very much liked to be heard and informed on the spot, but unfortunately only this third party website review triggered action. Let's have peace! After all, you have a great aim in mind. Puppies deserve the best and so do their breeders and owners, as well as people who bring the last two together.

We take a puppy first approach first and foremost. Under no circumstances will we ever release a puppy without validating the identity of the purchaser. We have every right to cancel a sale if we cannot vet the customer's identity. This is a GOOD thing and further proves we care!! A puppy has a short period of time to find a home, which is why we informed you that if you do not abide by our protocols and contracts that we would cancel the sale. You could have gone anywhere else to buy a puppy but you then would have stood a significant chance of being scammed. Your experience with our service would have been significantly POSITIVE if you would have allowed us to do our job. We care. We love our human customers, we love our breeders, we're not brokers (far from it), we're a platform that facilitates a safe, fraud free and humane puppy first adoption. We ensure both parties are protected, enforce their respective obligations equally while pledging to ensure the puppy's well being is front and center. We deal with significant fraud while protecting both buyer and breeder alike. Your claim is under review. The communication you received informed you of the time periods in which the claims department operates.
