Cute, but be careful of genetics
Edit: Sure I received a refund for the price of the puppy and I appreciate it... but now I'm paying 3x more than the puppy original price in medical bills. I'm more disappointed that my puppy needs so much medical attention and she is not even 1yr old. Vets and dog trainer have said these issues are most common with backyard breeders or even puppy mills. Not saying this was the case, but gives me some doubt regarding her pedigree/breeder. So if you are looking to use Pawrade just do more research or look for a local vetted breeder you can talk with directly. -- I received my puppy on January. The transaction was smooth and fast. She arrived generally healthy and happy. However, her vet pointed out she has genetic health issues. So basically she'll have life long health issues and need surgery/treatments to alleviate. I notified Pawrade and made a claim. I recieved a refund for the price of the puppy, but they said that was the extent they would cover and the health guarantee is no longer applicable. The refund only covered a fraction of her treatment, so I'll be paying for the rest and I'll have to pay for any other future treatments needed for her genetic issues. I love the puppy and will provide the care she needs, but I regret buying from Pawrade. I definitely won't use them again in the future and won't recommend thier service.

Jessica, we are very sorry that your pup developed some health issues found to be genetic. That is why we give the pups coverage for these types of issues under the Petpay Health Guarantee. We processed your claim and issued you a full refund. This is the maximum reimbursement and is clearly stated in your Reservation Agreement and within the health guarantee, all agreed to by you before purchase. We also give each customer 30 days of free Metlife Coverage for additional protection. It is then up to the customer, no obligation, to extend this coverage or choose coverage from an insurance company of their choosing. While we are very sorry that your pup has health concerns it is important to note that we stood by our Health Guarantee and promptly issued the maximum coverage reimbursement.
