They sold us a puppy with Parvo and then denied it
When we adopted our puppy from Pawrade everything was exactly as it should be. Tears of joy from our kids and much laughter. Two days later, he got sick and we found out he had parvo. We watched him deteriorate and my children spent 3 days crying their hearts out as we visited him in quarantine. Thankfully he recovered, but the breeder tells us it's not their problem and Pawrade has washed their hands of us. The insurance company that Pawrade recommended says it's a preexisting condition so they won't pay for the $4,000 bill that we got and no one cares. I asked the breeder not to pay for the vets bills or even the transportation costs. I merely wanted the cost for the puppy back to offset my expenses and they still denied us. DO NOT believe the caring nonsense on their website that we fell for... they don't care for the families or the well-being of the puppies.

Phillipa, We are so sorry that your pup fell ill. But your review here is not giving all the facts and important details. Your pup was not diagnosed with Parvo until 7 days after you had them. This is well after the incubation period for Parvo. This means that if the pup had Parvo it was contracted after being in your possession. This is why we caution all of our buyers in writing as well in recorded calls to avoid dog parks, pet stores, friends with dogs, etc. until the pup is fully vaccinated at 16 weeks. No other pups at the breeder or on the transport with your pup were sick or diagnosed with Parvo. Even though outside of the window for coverage for Parvo, the test your vet performed was also an in house SNAP test. These are notoriously inaccurate with false positives as the pup would have recently had a Parvo vaccination. Your Health Guarantee is very clear that an IDEXX Labs/PCR test is required and that was never performed. We process all Health Guarantee claims fairly and with complete integrity. Unfortunately this instance is not something that would be covered after a thorough and equitable review.
