I would give 0 stars if I could
I would give 0 stars if I could. Purchased Heart of Gold wig, COMFORT, and when received the sides touched the bottom of my neck. Not like the "bob" style shown. Back it went. Ordered JEWEL, and the monofilament top was practically bald. Sent it back. Ordered ALLURING, stylist showed me a lot of half inch hairs sticking straight out on top. Had to make a part way over to the side to cover them. She's an experienced wig stylist and couldn't even come close to the photo because the wig was poorly made. She did her best, and it was pretty. She told me it wouldn't last long and to buy another. After 2 weeks and wearing it only for 8 days (not in a row, either) the strands got kinky and ratty. Buying Paula Young wigs for 22+ years I never had a problem with any. PY products were ALWAYS used. As I only wore this for 8 days sporadically, I went back to my 15 year old MEG, which looked good as new. I was very disappointed, as I wanted a full monofilament top so badly. I received a catalogue with deferred billing to November. Thought I would try again with SPARKLE. I had thrown away ALLURING, and started wearing MEG every day. I decided to call customer care and ask if there was a policy that if a wig looked good when received, but if only wearing it for 8 days, and not in a row, the strands became kinky and ratty what were the options? Was told that I must have gotten the wig too close to heat (DID NOT), or maybe because of the hot weather (huh? I live in the South and that never happened). I was told the wigs are only good for 3-4 months anyway. I asked her to explain how I could wear MEG 15 years old, switching off with 2 JAMIE LYNN Versa fiber wigs 9 years old, and she didn't have a clue. I asked if the Kanekalon fibers came from a different overseas company; a change in manufacturer? That wouldn't make a difference. In other words, if you get a wig that becomes defective after you've worn it so few times, you're out of luck. Wow. Just, wow. Think of the money Paula Young makes if you have to replace a wig every 3-4 months. Never again will I buy from Paula Young again. It's blatantly obvious the quality of these wigs have gone downhill. And it's not anything I've done if I have 3 very old wigs in excellent shape.
