Loved price and selection. Unfortunately the wigs arrive with a cardboard insert attached to the inside of the wig cap. I cannot try the wig on with the long strip in it. As a cancer patient it is scratchy, painful, and I have no clue if it will fit my bald head. If you remove the cardboard Paula states she will not refund. So I took the $ hit for shipping and punishment for not knowing about Paula’s mean policy.

I am a daily wig wearer and have been purchasing from Paula Young since about 1995. I always purchased the same style until a few years ago when the wigs I received no longer resembled the style I had been ordering for years and quality was inferior. Since then I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find any wig from Paula Young that actually resembles the style photo in the catalog. I have not succeeded. Money wasted - not worth returning after return shipping and restocking fees are deducted. I've reached out to their customer service but have received no response. I am so disappointed. After so many years of being a loyal customer with multiple purchases each year I no longer have confidence in this company and would not recommend it to others. I will not purchase from them again.

Shipping costs ridiculous. No excuse for charging $70 to ship one wig. OK it’s offshore but no way can this be justified. Looking for recommendations for another company

I ordered a hairpiece from Paula Young 12 days ago. Their shipping fee was the same amount as the hairpiece, so I actually was charged double. I never received the hairpiece as it is lost in limbo somewhere. Forget trying to get help from their Customer Service - it is awful. My credit card company has helped me with this transaction, and I will never order from Paula Young again.

Ordered 2 wigs. I received yesterday. Followed instructions; used enclosed trial cap; the wigs did not work on me; everything left intact as instructed. I reached out to the customer service line. Horrible CS agent, represented company poorly. Did not have time to LISTEN to me (even though I told her I was trying to be kind & it was my 1st time ordering wigs). She was so very rude! I am sending these wigs back and if they even think about charging me return shipping and a restocking fee, they had better think again! I rather be bald then go through that again! I will dispute the charges on my credit card if they don't return every penny! I am so disappointed in this company. Not what I expected at all!

February thru May of 2024 I placed 3 orders. 4 wigs,returned 3 and on closer inspection I should have returned the 4th because the quality of materials and how poorly it was made were nothing like the same hair piece I had purchase 5 or so years ago. If I went into detail on how bad every aspect of attempting to purchase from paula young something I could actually wear it would take too long. Of the10 wigs and hair pieces I ordered none were good enough to be worn. I ordered clearance items,sale items and regular price items which didn't make a difference as to the quality of items I received. The hair used to make them is of the poorest quality I have seen. The workmanship of how they are sewn together is not as good as most costume wigs that you only pay a few dollars for. Customer service doesn't really exist as there is no standard they hold too or would appear to care one way or another if you are happy with your order. They also do not contact you to update you on info. Regarding items you have returned, refunds or exchange orders. I was told you have to reach out to them? I found it could take calling more than one time to get updated info about your order. It also took 2 weeks from the day they received the items I returned to process and ship my exchange order. 14 days it sat before they shipped my exchange items and another 7 days for it to get to me and again 3 items that are of inferior quality and cannot be worn.This is not a place that you can expect to buy what you see online or in their catalog. Save your time and money and the frustration of such bad business practices. I'm not returning the last 3 items I received for a refund even though I cannot wear them as they are. I am going to try to take hair from the wig and sew enough into the 2 hair pieces that were $50.00 each but they don't have enough hair to make it possible to wear them. A little over $200.00 for 3 items that I am going to spend hours trying to make into something I can wear. Is that ridiculous or what

Please DO NOT send any more catalogs. I called in an order 5/6/2024. First, I could hardly understand the salesperson which makes getting the facts correct difficult. Then the promotional prices DO NOT say that free shipping does not exist after the 20% or whichever percentage it is, because it brings it below say the $49.00 price, so the rep tries to sell more products to bring it up to $49.00 again. Then the color I wanted was not available, so I ordered what I thought would be close enough. The sample photos DO NOT show the back of the head, which in my case came very black, instead of light silver like the top and front. So I am very disgusted as it cost me $65.10 for nothing! I know I could have returned it, but have you seen all the restocking charges plus postage, etc. that it would’ve cost me? Plus, I thought it might work out, but it was just awful on my head!

I call these throw away wigs. Within a couple weeks, they are so frizzy that I have to throw them out! They never last over 1 month! I end up looking like a bush lady! I have worn wigs for 20 plus years and never had such bad wig quality. I am very careful storing, combing etc............Going back to lady I use to order from and now don't mind paying alot more for better quality wigs. I have even ordered $10 wigs from Temu that are so much better!
