I was able to get in contact with someone very quickly and they were able to review everything very quickly as well. Customer service is very nice and easy to speak to.

Came here to look for answers, but instead looks like we dodged a bullet. My husband tried to see about getting a loan through them for a surgery for me. . We filled out all the stuff online, when it came to submitting the identity I clicked out of it until my husband was out of the shower when I came back it had logged me out. So we thought no big deal we will call them tomorrow. We called and they said due to FRAUD they were not able to process the application. There were no documents we could submit, no office my husband could walk into, no solutions. Just a flat no. Actually they said “you will need to look elsewhere for financing” like what in the hell 😂 my husband has a great credit score, a great paying job, a well established savings/checking account but we are always up to building our credit profile. The way we were treated was absolutely bananas. It should say in big red letters “if you don’t complete the identity documents right now, you will be flagged as fraud and unable to move forward” what kind of clown nonsense is that.

They gave a credit limit of $2,500. It is not worth the trouble to fill out the forms.

I applied for a loan with PatientFi because I was told that if I paid it off within a year I would have no interest. They reported to Credit Karma that there was interest on the loan. I had automatic payments on my account and I missed one payment after that I was charged double payments every month after that, when I called to ask over the double payments I was told that they saw no such payments on my account. I finished paying the debt and was double charged on my last payment I had to dispute it with my bank to get that resolved and later got an email from them saying that I had outstanding payments on my account, it took me two days of calling customer service and finally getting someone on the phone to get that solved! Now its been almost TWO MONTHS since I’ve paid off the debt and they still haven’t reported it to Credit Karma only saying that I paid off 8% of my loan effectively ruining my credit score. I seriously don’t recommend this company to anyone!

I secured a loan with an intro 0% for 6 months. It started as an ACH direct payment from Day 1. A month before the expiration, I did a balance transfer. The account was paid in full and the ACH was stopped. It was reported as Closed, In Good Standing, Paid in Full. 3 months later, they now are reporting it as Past Due for $130 ($4 of alleged unpaid amounts). It caused me to drop 55 points on my credit. Now they want me to rescind this review or are challenging it. I have the proof that the account was closed. They stalked me with a collection team and reported my first late payment in 31 years. For a $4 balance. And by the way, before I initiated the balance transfer, PatientFi gave me a 10 day payoff (it was a medical installment loan so zero new charges) so after they received the full balance due, to then charge me interest of $4 then report that late? Take my advice I wish I’d never worked with them. Horrific

I made an assumption that my payoff balance would be the day I had my procedure. Come to find out, I was charged an interest rate 27.990% (based on documents, fair), however, I paid off the balance within 10 days (assuming the final payoff date was the date of the surgery). That amounted to ~$2,550 for the year, per what I was told. When I spoke with the agent, she said she’d submit a ticket to request the removal and that often times when people payoff the balance within 30 days of the payoff date, the interest rate is removed or refunded. I called to follow up and spoke with another agent after I was told I’d receive a call within 7-10 business days with a response (no one called me). They said I would get nothing in return and that it was rejected. No offer to refund at least 50% back or divide what the interest would have accrued in 10 days, nothing! After asking for a manager (because this was unacceptable. It’s taking advantage of customers), the agent came back and said he’d submit another ticket (taking another 7-10 bus days). I asked what difference would this ticket make from the first and why couldn’t I speak with a manager. He said they basically would dispute it and try again. Which was not helpful. I made an honest mistake of miscalculating the payoff date was the date of my procedure, by 10 days. No offer to adjust the interest amount, at all!! I will never use or recommend this company again for future procedures. And be sure to let anyone I know to avoid this company who doesn’t treat customers fairly, understanding the situation.

Hi Maribel - I am very concerned about your experience. I was having difficulty finding a record of you reaching out to us. We take all cases of fraud very seriously and I can assure you we absolutely have steps to resolve these types of cases. Would you be able to call us at 866.734.5979 as soon as possible so we can start an investigation into this? One of our team members did attempt to call you but your voicemail is full. We also sent you an email. Also, I do see you left a complaint on a different review site that states you did not move forward with treatment with your medical provider. If you are simply trying to cancel, we can also assist with that as well. We do first need to confirm that no services were received as you did accept and finalize your loan with us. Either, way, please contact us as soon as you can. We definitely want to make sure this issue is resolved for you as quickly as possible. We have also reached out to your medical provider to inform them of your complaint here.
