PathriseReviews of pathrise.com

Pathrise is the most personalized option to help people like myself level up their skills. In my case, I was just innately interested in algorithms and data structures, and knew I needed some personalized instruction to get better at these types of problems. The fact that tech interviews also focus on this type of problem solving was secondary to me. Pathrise definitely overdelivered and I was able to become competent in these fundamentals as a direct result of participating in this program.

Pathrise is 100% worth it, if for those who need it. My time at Pathrise gave me the courage to do things I dreamed of, but was too scared to execute. I had the chance to work closely with founding members, and always felt invigorated and encouraged after an advising session. I also think that Pathrise fits specific needs, and is not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. The program fit me very well as a person, but it might not for you. And while I may think that the cost of the program is not much, if you are someone with a lot of financial burden or is not financially responsible, think twice. All in all, Pathrise is legit. Advisors know their stuff, and I'm eternally grateful for support I received.

Great personalized, practical advice and support from both the core curriculum taught and small group sessions. Main strength is that it offers an adviser who I can reach out to fairly frequently on Slack and can schedule for 1-on-1 meetings very conveniently, for help in any phase throughout my job search. The advisers are experienced and having been recruiters themselves, truly understand the current trends and needs in the hiring space and cater advice accordingly that gave me an edge against other applicants.

Knowledgeable advisors who want the best for your career prospects! Giving 4 stars because I felt like the PM team was not as collaborative as the SWE team. Could be because we were fewer too.

If you want to start a career as a software engineer and you have the technical knowledge but aren't sure how to land that first job, Pathrise can absolutely get you the tools you need. They also have a program geared toward data scientists, but searching for tech roles that fall outside those categories involves generalizing from Pathrise's advice. The salary negotiation tips alone paid for their service in my case.

Amazing experience, Pathrise helped me get a SE dream job in SF and I couldn't be more thankful. They even helped me negotiate a higher salary which paid for their percentage and then some.

The program does truly pay for itself. Pathrise will help you get your dream job, and set you up for success. For me, the support that program provided allowed me to simultaneously pursue tough courses and running my student organization without worrying I was 'sacrificing' my career prospects. I highly recommend this program if you've ever been overly stressed with recruiting to the point where it's a detriment on your quality of life. And the skills and strategies learned on Pathrise will continue to help you when you decide to look for other opportunities!

Pathrise really helped with interview prep and networking.
