PathriseReviews of pathrise.com

My advisor, Michael, is a rock star engineer who helped me get a leg up on my interview skills. He helped me identify the weak spots in my fundamentals and gave me some awesome problems to work on to level up my programming skills. The curriculum is four weeks long followed by an indefinite support period. You'll be connected to other fellows through multiple communication mediums and you will also be assigned a small group where you can share experiences and participate in group exercises. I had a blast while in the program and am currently making almost triple the salary of my previous job. I'm also working for a recognizable company, something I wasn't sure I would ever do in my life. Pathrise helped me to find my potential and stoked the eagerness I already had to find a great job. The program is well worth the money, and you don't have to pay anything until you graduate.

I started my job hunt in March 2018 and landed a great software engineer job in Palo Alto in June 2018. It's definitely possible to get a good job without Pathrise, but the value in Pathrise is that you don't waste your time trying to find what works. Effective job hunting is not an obvious process, and it quickly becomes exhausting as you go through the steps: your resume, finding the opportunities, presenting yourself to recruiters, interviewing, and negotiating offers. It's totally worth the money to learn the best ways to land the job you want and start your career off as strong as you can.

I would 100% recommend Pathrise!!! I found my 2019 summer internship through Pathrise. During the time with Pathrise, I learned so much not only about job searching skills, interview skills, but most importantly, I learned how to connect with people, how to communicate with people, especially through email. Pathrise really gives personalized advices through every 1-on-1, feedback after interview/interview practice. I felt more and more confident about myself after every 1-on-1. What Pathrise offers is really lifetime valuable lesson to build your personality and make you more professional in your career. Go for it you will not be regret!

Pathrise is a great community and I'm going to be a part of it for a long time. It's more than just a career accelerator, you meet people-you share your skills and learn something new. Advisors here do the best to help out the fellows and are always there to help you to the best. Pathrise is growing and I have seen the new products/resources adding up to the stack for better helping the fellows to land their dream job.

Job search can be hard; harder if you're right out of college and not well connected with people in the industry. Pathrise provides a support system by having weekly coding challenges, networking tips & tricks and small group sessions with fellow job seekers. However, what really attracted me towards Pathrise was the 1 on 1 sessions with my advisor where I could ask any career related questions - be it mock interviews, cold emailing strategies, improving my resume, etc. I would highly recommend Pathrise for anyone right out of college trying to land their first job!

I want to start off by saying Pathrise is not a guarantee you will land your dream job. You get lifetime connections, interview prep, workshops and honestly, the list goes on. With them, you will raise your chances considerably and get as much mentorship and preparation as you need. It all depends on the individual. Pathrise and it's mentors are there to provide the resources and help, and it is up to you to put in the effort and utilize it as much as you can. If you do, you will realize that the personal effort the mentors put in along with the resources at your disposal is almost everything you could've asked for while looking for a job. Landing that dream job could be one step closer with Pathrise.

I was able to land on my first internship through this program! I had difficulties looking for jobs myself (especially with interviews), but Pathrise was able to give me the knowledge and confidence to tackle through! If you're having doubts about the $$, think of it this way: being able to learn and make money (by getting a job) while giving up some of your paycheck is much better than making no money AND gaining no knowledge. 4 stars because every company can improve and make their company better!

Great mentorship and feedback system to get through interviews
