LIFE CHANGING. Join this program as soon as you can. I was lucky to join Pathrise in my sophomore year of college and all the stuff I learned is still helping me in my job search! They are a brilliant bunch of helpful people. The fee is slightly steep but pays itself off in the long run.

Pathrise is highly dedicated towards your success
Being a Pathrise Alumni, I would highly recommend joining Pathrise if you want to surround yourself with like-minded people be it, mentors or students, just like you, who are dedicated to land you the best job you can possibly have.
Group coding sessions, pair programming sessions, and mock interview sessions with your mentor are really helpful to develop your skills for the real world.
It was one of the great decisions I made and I am thankful to Pathrise for guiding me in a tough time.

Pathrise helped me land my first job!
Before I joined Pathrise, I had done some reading up on Pathrise by looking online. Because PathRise was still relatively new, there wasn’t a lot of public information/reviews out there from former users (except for the ones on the Pathrise website, which I didn’t know if I could trust ). I turned to Reddit, the front page of the internet. So here’s where it gets interesting - there are a lot of posts about folks asking about the program, followed by other users berating Pathrise! The complaints range from moderately/arguably true (“Pathrise didn’t give me 1000 referrals!” ) to outright lies ("Pathrise is a predatory program which is feeding on the insecurities of international students "). What’s more important is that I almost did not join Pathrise because of all this noise. But thankfully, I chose to discover it myself, and that was the best decision I took in my job hunt!
There is a two week trial period where Pathrise gives you all the resources that they give to their signed fellows, which lets you make a decision. I was hooked, right from day 1! There are one-on-ones with my technical mentor and career mentor, Pair Programming sessions, Interview reflection sessions, Software workshops, and a plethora of resources. Before Pathrise, I was getting a lot of rejections, and though I knew this was the norm, I couldn't point my finger at what I was doing wrong (or right). That made me doubt every single thing I did and was eating up a lot of my mental space. My career coach took off this load - by reviewing my resume, my application pipeline, and working with me to come up with a plan. My results improved overnight! My technical mentor helped me identify silly mistakes I was making while doing interviews, and helped me focus on my weak points.
Long story short, I got two offers (one of which was Amazon) within 3 months of joining the cohort! I had another last round interview lined up, which I was very confident about, but decided not to pursue it since I was ready to take up one of the previous offers! My mentors also helped me during the negotiation phase, and that in itself paid for the 9% cut that Pathrise takes on my salary later. I was more than satisfied with the program, and I made a lot of valuable relationships along the way, with other people from the program - who themselves got offers from really good companies.
If you are someone like me who was worried about joining, I'd recommend joining the two week trial period. I'm sure you'll love it, and find it extremely useful!

One of the most efficient 21st Century learning platforms
My review is based on the fact that I had done a program similar to Pathrise right prior to it called AudaciousYou here in Toronto.
AudaciousYou had a lot of similarities in that both programs are all about helping young professionals get hired by top companies with a "you get as much as you put in" sort of personal/professional development process.
However the one thing that made me choose to do another similar program after Audacious You was because Pathrise had dedicated mentors and tracks that were focused on my career of digital product design. AudaciousYou was very much so transferrable skills - focused and therefore graduates of that program were more geared towards roles in consulting and finance.
Aside from the dedicated mentorship, I also do indeed like how Pathrise operates under an ISA - Income Share Agreement. The only thing I didn't like was that it was remote. I wish I could've seen people IRL and engaged with my mentor IRL.
I also wished I had more time to apply everything that they had taught. Unfortunately, once again - you get as much as you put into it, and unfortunately for me, I didn't get as much as I put into it because I didn't put in enough of my own effort.
Mainly - I didn't have enough time to update my design portfolio to be impeccable enough to get my dream job.
However, I learned how better to tell my story and I learned other things that I know I'll apply in the future.
I do love how the program cares about being as efficient as possible in one's job hunt, from the application to interviews, etc, and they care a lot about leveraging technology to fast-track the job hunting process. AudaciousYou was very much so focused on soft-skills and soft skills only as well as things like "you gotta network" and other such things, but Pathrise gave us premium access to Crunchbase for example and taught us how to send out email blasts.
Pathrise respected the time of their mentors and mentees to minimize the amount wasted and maximize the output. This is what I appreciated most about Pathrise - is how much it cared to be efficient, ultimately and how it continues to care to be so.

Super worth it:)
The advisors are really great! I found the 4-week core program to be super helpful. Recruiting is a bit of a blackbox and Pathrise provides you with industry professionals who are able to point you to the right places and shape you into the candidate you want to be!
They prepare you for your (likely) first job out of college by helping you improve your technical skills and other soft skills. The support from other students in the community is great too!

The advisors do care about every fellow…
The advisors do care about every fellow and provide support from every aspect. As a new grad without industrial experience, finding a full-time job can be very daunting but Pathrise definitely makes it easier.

Definitely would recommend Pathrise!
I would definitely recommend to checkout Pathrise for those who want to take the next step or personalized guidance in their job search. The Advisors are 100% behind your back and will help you improve your chances of getting to the position you want.
With Pathrise, you get tons of resources and personalized 1-on-1 sessions where you can get feedback from their advisors. The materials and feedback that Pathrise provided definitely boosted the number of companies that reached out to me and my interview performance.
They have really smart advisors from different backgrounds that can really enhance your chances of getting the offer you want. So I would definitely check them out!
