One on one tutoring is the way to go!
I purchased the On-Demand and the live one on one tutoring program. I was really pushed for time and didn't really get a chance to watch many of the videos but I had two amazing tutors!!! Dr. Chako had an amazing way of explaining things so that I could remember them and Dr. Davis...What can I say? She was great at drilling me. She was great at helping to see why I kept getting questions wrong. Most of all, she helped me gain the confidence needed to take this test! One on one tutoring is the way to go!

*This review only applies for step 2 Ck*
The pass program has been designed for step 1 only. Unfortunately the step 2 ck course is not well organized and its only 2 hours/day with unexperienced teachers who are not able to answer your questions. The information they provided were sometimes incorrect, not up to date and with very little explanation. They were so many high yield topics that stayed uncovered.
Save your money and study at home.
once again I mention this is a review for step 2 ck, I'm not talking about step 1 or how Dr. Francis teaches.

Thank you for the honest feedback. We appreciate you distinguishing the Step 2 CK course specifically, and we're sorry it wasn't well organized for you. That's useful as we look at that track. We wish you all the best. – The PASS Program Team

Great resource
Great resource! Teaches you how to think rather than what to think, which is the direction Step 1 is moving towards. Will also continue to help on rotations. Highly recommend to anyone struggling to understand practice questions (esp. UW)

STEP 2 Journey: Failure to Success
I'm a US MD student that passed STEP 1 but failed STEP 2 twice and with pressure from my medical school I registered for the PASS program. I registered for the 5-week course since my scores were borderline 200. What I liked about the program was that for STEP 2 we go through the material for STEP 1 to solidify that foundation so the concepts of STEP 2 were easily formed. Additionally, the program teaches you how to perfect test-taking strategies with morning drills and evening concept drills. The one-on-one tutoring sessions provided are by physicians who went through the PASS program and can relate to you. As everyone's study method is different I just want to share some successful tips that worked for me: 1. I chose to stay in Champaign (in the housing provided) after the 5 weeks for an additional 2-3 weeks instead of going back home to study. I felt the atmosphere had a great study vibe and I wanted to keep my momentum going without distractions from home. The testing center in Champaign was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. I've tested in big cities and prefer the individualized attention from this small city center. During those additional weeks, I went to morning drills from an hr (6:30 to 7:30 am) and then studied the rest of the day. 2. For STEP 2 I used "NANAK: Next Step in Management for USMLE STEP 3 2nd edition." Yes, this is a STEP 3 book but it served as a quick review and I like how it reviewed initial diagnostic steps vs. best diagnostic steps. I read through this book during the 5 weeks, in addition to the PASS program material, and again within 2-3 days before my exam. I highly recommend. Don't worry about the CCS pages. 3. I came with a mindset for success. It sounds simple but it makes all the difference. It's easy to become discouraged especially when having failed but every day I got up early did questions, went to drills, sat through almost 9 hours of lectures, went home and reviewed that day's lecture, did more questions, reviewed my day's questions, and then cooled down with the NANAK book. I worked hard. This for me was not a place to come to party or play. My determination to succeed and become a physician drove me. 4. The city is very outdoor friendly which was great for me because it provided great study breaks. A walk near a lake or watching people play with their dogs was a great reliever after being in a box studying for hours. 5. The Churches in Champaign are absolutely friendly and served as a family away from home while I was there for 8 weeks. 6. I took a USMLE practice exam at the testing center 1-2 weeks before my exam. I recommend doing this! 7. I dropped UWORLD. After going through the UWORLD 3 times previously, I needed fresh questions. I used Kaplan and it was good. I also recommend doing the 8-hour exams which helped me build stamina. I hope this is helpful to somebody, I remember going here and having a lot of question marks in my head, but I did PASS and improved my score significantly. God be with you and remember "failure will never overtake you if your determination to succeed is strong enough!" ...
