I came to the PASS program years ago to prep for Step 1. I had never taken the exam before and heard many good reviews about the program. Additionally, I went to a Caribbean off shore medical school, so my basic science knowledge was near to none. Before PASS, I thought of passing USMLE step 1 as a long shot dream. Dr Francis took me in and guided me through every step of the process. I came in not knowing a single thing, to making connections, filling in the blanks, reciting pharm and most importantly, understanding medicine. After the 8 week course, I stayed in Champaign to take my school COMP exam and then my Step 1. I walked into Step 1 knowing those drill sheets and pharm like the back of my hand. I felt so confident. I PASSED step 1 with flying colors because of Dr. Francis, and I mean that! He truly made me love Medicine. I will never forget what I mentioned to one of my attendings during my rotations that Dr. Franics taught me, “You must first learn normal, that way abnormal will always stand out". I came back to the Program for Step 2CS and for Step 2 CK. While everyone is different, many will complain about the Step 2CK students learning the same information as Step 1. But I beg the differ, it truly is the same material. If you know the PASS Program notes from Step 1, your step 2CK will be another Success. They took me in and had faith in me when I lost faith in myself. No program will be perfect, you must bring your own work ethic, drive, and passion. I never missed a morning question session and used each tutor session to my advantage. I went in each session with the thought, “ I want to teach you as if you are my student, and please stop me or correct in any place.” And every time I came out stronger. I came to the program with a mission, to learn medicine and be a great Physician, and that was my focus. The city was great and calm which helped, but I barley left my apartment anyway, only for church on Sunday. Also, I will say for Step 2CK, one should also use Next Step In Management NANAK! I am grateful and appreciative of the PASS Program. I just found out two week ago that I MATCHED into Family Medicine. And I know without a doubt it was because of God, and The PASS Program. I know if time permits, I would be blessed to be able to come back for Step 3 prep during residency. Thank you PASS Program team!

Dr. Francis and his staff have been nothing less than excellent, before and after the covid-19 outbreak. The method of teaching implemented by Dr. Francis, in my opinion, is superior to the other programs that I have had experience with. The tutors are very good and will use their time to personally tailor schedules and strategies to your unique learning style. When the Covid-19 outbreak began and the program closed down the live site(live online remained). I was worried that I was losing money in that I could not attend classes in person. When I spoke with the pass team about my concerns, I didn't even have to try to argue my case... they were immediately responsive and accommodating to my requests. These are very honest people. The environment here is perfect for students struggling with scheduling and/or motivation. Even if you're just having a hard time due to distractions, the pass environment will get you back on track. Everyone here is dedicated to studying and willing to help. There are students studying for step 1, 2 and 3 all around which makes being onsite great for getting advice from people with more/different experiences or related to people in the same boat you are in. All in all I strongly recommend this program for any student needing a boost in their studying.

This program was great for me. I came into the program feeling like passing step 1 was a long shot but went into my exam feeling confident that I would pass after about 5 months of studying and tutoring. The program helped me connect dots and concepts that should have been taught in med school. In the 5 weeks that covered just about everything I saw in my first 2 years of med school, Dr. Francis was able to make complex subject matter easy and understandable. This information was very conceptual, which I think is more beneficial than rote memorization of first aid. After every concept explained in class, I said to myself, “it just makes sense.” This made learning the material easier for me. The program also allowed me to connect with other students in a similar situation, which allowed us to study together and build each other up. This is a great program for students that need to review content matter, learn how to attack questions, or those that need a new energy or motivation to get through the grueling process of step. I’d advised students to get rid of all distractions, listen to Dr. Francis’s advice and keep close tabs with him and at least another tutor. Thank you PASS Program!

Pass-program really changed my life I came to Pass after one of my friends encouraged me to do so. At that time I was tired of studying the same traditional materials that without getting any significant results. Dr Francis does everything to ensure that I receive a solid foundation and also rebuild my confidence. With him all information make sense and he goes above and beyond to help. Pass-program gave me the opportunity to understand medicine instead of memorizing everything. I wasn’t ashamed to ask my questions because the goal was to make it crystal clear. Not just Dr Francis should be engrossed with customer services n satisfaction. It should be everyone's heart beat. When you win an argument against your customers you have lost. In service business customers deserve to be pleased.
