I am very happy with my experience at PASS overall. I took the 5-week course for Step 2 and COMLEX Level 2 online and it was definitely tough, but rewarding. I am giving a 4-star and not 5 because of the lack of communication between staff and students. I purchased some services and missed one session. When I attempted to reach my tutor, they never answered nor replied to my emails. When I reached out to office staff and requested a re-schedule, I was denied the chance because of specific rules that were never explained to me when I purchased the service. I asked to reschedule or to receive a refund and without any reply to my request or further attempt at working with me to get the services I wanted/needed, I received an email from PayPal saying I was getting a partial refund. (Noteworthy to say, one of the reasons I would be allowed to reschedule was the reason why I had the issue with getting to the session, yet I was not given the chance to reschedule when explaining this). My goal was to get the services I needed, not to get refunded, so further conversation with me on their part would have given them insight as to what I actually wanted/needed when I reached out to them. The whole process just seemed very dismissive to me. I share this not to bash the name of the program, but to provide constructive feedback. I really enjoyed this program, there just needs to be some standardization to the way information is relayed to the students. Regardless of that small incident, the rest of my time at PASS was worth it and Dr. Francis is always helpful and makes himself available to all the students. He really loves what he does. I also like that this program encourages camaraderie among the students, even those that are online, by promoting group study and encouragement within us. I will definitely recommend this program and would do it again. Thank you to everyone at PASS!

I had struggled so much with COMLEX Level 1 and was on my last chance to pass before being dismissed from my program. I did the 5 week live online program. I was truly defeated and convinced I was never going to get past this exam when I started the PASS program. From day one, I realized I was latching onto information that I had missed over and over due to the unique way Dr. Francis presents it. The biggest thing that helped me for sure was the approach to questions that Dr. Francis instills in his students! The 5 step approach is amazing, and once you practice it enough, it makes questions seem so much more manageable. I used to look at huge paragraph questions and instantly panic and assume I would miss them, and now I feel like those are actually the easier ones now that I know how to dissect them. I really think not knowing how to pick apart questions was my biggest problem and PASS addressed that a million times over. I could not recommend this program enough as I’m finally back to rotations and getting to continue with my program. I will likely use this program for level 2 as well!

I’ve never learned medicine the way that I do with Dr. Francis.

This is a great program - it provides a unique prep experience that is engaging and helps build a solid foundation for answering questions/clinical scenarios.

Dr Francis and the PASSPROGRAM have been a life changing experience. They truly work with you not just in support of becoming a doctor, but an exceptional practicing Physician. I have used the resources from PASS studying initially for USMLE step 1 but even most recent for my ABIM Internal Medicine Board Review.

Pass Program’s curriculum is comprehensive, easy to understand, and unique. They work with you every step of the way to make sure you PASS Step 1 by providing a structured schedule and tutor(s). The course goes beyond teaching you how to memorize information, it teaches you how to think so you can still understand if a question is asked in another way. The test taking/morning questions classes that Dr. Francis does in the mornings are essential. I’d highly recommend the program for anyone, no matter what your score is, that is looking to do well on STEP 1.
