Beware of this legal scam!
*******Follow-Up to Original Review******* I just got off the phone and I am told that I am being issued a refund. let me be clear...Do not pay for this service. You don't need it. Your own doctor is able to complete the required documentation needed to get a placard or a plate. Here is my situation. I have a back problem that is military service related. I had a MRI in 2021 that showed that I have permanent damage in 5 discs in my lower back. Rather than spend all day at the VA trying to see a doctor for a placard, I paid for this service. They received the results of my MRI and won't accept them because they are too old. Yet they show a permanent injury. Short of a miracle, I still have the problem. I was told I need to go back to see my doctor so he can write that I still have permanent damage, so Parking MD doctor can agree and request a placard. My own doctor can do that. So what am I paying them for? This is why it is a legal scam. They also offered, for a fee, to get me a National Park Pass. This is a free benefit for all veterans. Why are they charging for something that I can get for free by visiting the National park Web site? Please do not waste your money. It took me several weeks and a lot of stress and headaches to learn this. I offer you this valuable advice for free. I'm not going to charge you like they would. *********************************************** ORIGINAL REVIEW This is as close to a scam as you can get. First, I reviewed the entire web site before spending any money. I am a disabled veteran and did not feel like waiting in line for hours at the VA, when I can do it from the comfort of home in just a few days. Or so I thought. First, you need to pay the fee in order to learn the real truth and then you only get the truth a small bit at a time. Within an hour of paying, I realized that this is not what I was made to believe so I immediately requested a refund. Well, they did everything to convince me to stay. I set an appointment on the first day for 3:00 PM. I sat there for 30 minutes trying to get into the meeting only to find out it was canceled. I was told you can't meet with a doctor until your records are received. So... I requested them. And waited and waited. Emailed them again and was told the records haven't been sent and it could take up to 14 more days. Again, I told them I could have done it the same day at the VA, I just didn't want to sit in a line all day. Well today, after being sick of waiting, I uploaded own copies of an MRI I had done on my back. They told me I could do that to speed things up. I uploaded the file and again it told me to schedule an appointment which I did. Even got confirmation from Parking MD and was confirmed for my appointment. I waited again and once again the appointment link was dead. I sent a request and was told someone would call me...They never did. I set another appointment for 4:30. Once again, I couldn't get in. I then call customer service and spoke with who I am certain was an AI agent. I asked to be transferred and was transferred to number that was changed. The recording gave the new number so fast it was impossible to write it down. I had to call back again and try to get the number. Why would you transfer someone to a number that is changed. Why not transfer me to the new number? Oh that's right, they have outsourced it to AI. So finally I speak with a guy named Sam, probably not his real name, who explained to me the REAL process, which is a 5 step process that would make the 1 to 2 days processing time they claim on the web site nearly impossible. So here I am, weeks into what could have been a one day process at the VA, still waiting for who knows how long for something I could have already for free. I still want a refund but they have themselves covered and that will never happen. Sometimes doing the right thing means bending a rule but they are not about customer care or patient care. They are about money. Trust me, it is as close to a scam as they can be without breaking the law. Do not waste your time or money, trust me. And for whoever at parkingMD.com responds to this posting, please review all of my messages from day 1 until today and you tell me that I was not mislead and misinformed every step in this process. And rather than wasting time defending your actions, find a way for me to talk to a doctor. I've only been waiting a few weeks.

Hello William! We’re truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment you’ve experienced throughout this process. After reading your feedback, we understand how upsetting it must have been to invest your time, wait for appointments, and feel like you were not getting the clear answers or support you needed. We especially understand your concerns as a disabled veteran who was looking for a more convenient way to complete this process without the difficulty of waiting at the VA. We apologize that your experience did not feel simple, transparent, or efficient. We reviewed your account and confirmed that you did upload medical records; however, the records provided were from 2021. Our clinical team requires more recent medical documentation that reflects your current condition before a provider can complete an evaluation. Without updated records, we are unable to move the evaluation forward. We understand that this requirement may not have been clear upfront, and we’re sorry for the confusion and delays it caused. Our intention is never to make the process more difficult or leave patients feeling unheard. If you no longer wish to continue with the evaluation, please contact us at [email protected], and we will assist you with your refund request. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we will use your feedback to improve how we communicate our process and requirements moving forward. -ParkingMD Team
