Do not trust this company. They don't answer their phones, emails, or messages. They don't care about their customers and in fact, are quite rude to them. I wouldn't shop here if THEY paid ME. You can't slam the door in a customer's face! The trickle-down effect has begun ... and another one bites the dust. I'm not worried. There's certainly no shortage of online yarn stores that deliver the pleasant business experience you can no longer find at Paradise Fibers.

I have been a loyal customer for several years. Service was always very prompt, courteous and a pleasure to order from. They were the best store I ever dealt with. Starting this past Fall communication went in the toilet, orders took forever to ship and emails without response. Time for online chat averages hold times of an hour if they are even on line. Emails take weeks to get a response. If your item is back-ordered or there is an issue with it you have to call them to find out. Fiber club quality dropped so that average box contents worth were 18-25$ where it used to rock before. Last straw was recently opened bags of fiber ordered at Christmas to find every bag was short an ounce or two. Think they need to get a new scale, if I order and pay for 16 ounces I expect 16 ounces not 14 (my scale is highly accurate and this was never an issue prior to the Fall always was at or over the amount I ordered). Good luck to them, they are going to need it if they plan on staying in business long term. At this rate, they will crash and burn which is quite sad. Edited to respond to post by PF. When I realized I was short I did call (once) and I did email (twice). Did not receive any response but now since my review is standing publicly and this is now months later I get one? It's a little too late for that. Besides, why do you even acknowledge this after you flagged my review as a not confirmed purchaser simply because it is negative and make me jump through hoops to get it reinstated? Why would I even take a chance with this company again given all that I laid out?

I have shopped at Paradise for years now and have LOVED it...the selection, the prices, the deals, the shipping rates, the points, but the most important thing to me was the absoultely over the top customer service. I don't know what has happened in the last few months, but I once woud have given Paradise a five star review so I am quite sad to be giving them a one. My last few orders have had little to no communication, and I finally cancelled my latest since it hadn't even shipped after a week. I hope someday to find that Paradise is again Paradise not one of Dante's levels of Inferno! But until then, I will do my shopping elsewhere. Thanks for the good years, and I hope you get things sorted out!

This place has terrible customer service. Back in December I ordered yarn online when they had a buy three get one free special, but only three skeins were delivered. No one ever contacted me to tell me that the fourth one wasn't available and it was still listed as being available on the website. After weeks of hearing nothing, I finally called. Turns our they didn't have it in stock and they had contacted the yarn company to obtain more. Why wouldn't someone reach out to me to tell me that's what was going on? Then it turned out that the yarn color was discontinued! I had to purchase it from a different company. They did give me a $20 credit and a free shipping code, but I still had to buy the yarn from a different. Then I used the free shipping code last week (February 4) and I still don't have the yarn (Feb. 11), even though I used the free expedited shipping code. After hearing nothing for five days, I contacted the company by both phone and via email and I still have no explanation as to where my yarn is and why my shipment wasn't expedited. This is ridiculous!

Paradise Fibers has lost my support. Being from Spokane I visited Paradise Fibers often and had the opportunity to take classes at the store. The way they have treated their employees in the last few months has made me see that they no longer are deserving of my business. Until a new store opens up in Spokane, all my business will go towards online retailers.

I am becoming more and more disappointed in Paradise Fibers since all the staff changes. Travis, Sara, and all the other staff members who have recently been sued, fired and pushed out are the ones who made the store great. You've always had a great selection and customer service and I've never thought twice about shopping in your store. Now, your customer service sucks and I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere. I've been so disappointed in your website (stating quantities that are false) and whoever it is who packed my most recent order. I ordered two skeins of the same yarn and I couldn't believe how poorly matched they were, which is just another example of the previous great customer service going down the toilet. Get with the program before you loose all your customers.

Very disappointed with the lack of customer service. Emails/phone calls not returned, broken items and items not showing up.

I had first ordered from Paradise Fibers in the fall, and my order was processed quickly and the products were great. My next order had serious shipping issues -I requested and paid for UPS and they shipped via USPS. Needless to say the order was over a week later than I expected, and, since I am in Canada, I had no way of knowing when my order would arrive. I had hoped that this was a fluke due to the holidays and recently made the mistake of ordering once more from Paradise Fibers. This time I requested Fedex shipping. Sure enough, we received a call informing us that the company cannot ship via FedEx (begging the question of why this is even an option), and asking if UPS would be acceptable. Sure, we replied. A couple of days later when we saw no shipping confirmation we checked the order and saw that it had, in fact, been shipped ... via USPS. Again. Needless to say I have received no response to my inquiry about my order. While I expect that I will eventually receive my order, that won't be for at least another week or two. If I'm lucky. I am very disappointed to see how far Paradise Fibers has fallen. Incompetent shipping, failure to deliver on customer expectations, and unresponsive customer service - - your money is better spent virtually anywhere else. I won't be ordering from Paradise Fibers again.
