I have bought three hats from Panama Hats Direct. One of them was for my husband who has an unusually large head. It was especially made for him. It fit him perfectly and is beautiful quality. The other two were available in the sizes we needed and arrived promptly to Australia very well packed and again excellent quality. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Panama Hats Direct. Casey is extraordinarily responsive before and AFTER the sale. In my case, I was too careful to ensure my hat would not be too small. I over-estimated size when I ordered. Casey explained and sent me pictures of how to shrink the size without showing a single gap or wrinkle. I fell in love with my hat wearing it for years. When I needed service, Casey was there, again. Honestly, dealing with Casey was as easy as if he owned a store downtown. In fact, his service was probably better than I could expect from a small town merchant, were they even to exist in this day and age. When it came time to replace my hat, I went right back to Casey. He yet had my 1st order on file, and I was able to duplicate my initial order, and this time, order the correct size. If ever I need a third hat, and Casey is around, I plan on re-ordering from the very same place. My hats were as promised and their quality is extraordinary. The weaves are tight, smooth, even and shaped well. A hat merchant in Philadelphia complimented the product, making me feel well justified in my purchase. The Philadelphia hatter even offered to steam and block my hat free of charge.
